Absolutely disgusting 🫣

Location was awesome.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom residence and it was actually terrible to be honest.

We arrived at 3pm for check in, to not get into the room until 5.30pm when l didn't receive a text message but went down from the casino to ask when our room was ready.

We got a late check out of 1 hour provided to us.

The room was big, but had alot of flaws, especially for the cost.

On day 2 l wanted our room cleaned, new sheets, towels, etc. l left the room at 8am to come back to nothing being done, contacted house keeping at 12pm, sorry ma'am we will get someone up there straight away, went to lunch came back to get ready for concert, no clean towels. Tried to call them at housekeeping x5 times. l am impatient person, but when you are paying $850 night you expect much more then you expect, went down physically to Reception to ask them at 3pm, to be told, oh we are sorry but they have been flat out today.

We will get up there asap. the cleaners were on our floor when l came back up to the room but didn't come into our room.

We got back to our room on Tuesday morning after our concert, to towels on the kitchen chair. way too late.

checkout was absolutely a shit show. For a hotel that pride themselves on good service and excellent facilities it was a disgrace.

With no apology of anything that was done wrong and no refund of money was also a issue.

This was part of a birthday gift for my Mothers 100th birthday. The whole two days, including a show at the Lyric Theatre, was a wonderful experience for my Mother and her 97 year old sister.

Great stay, excellent location!
Pros:

Stayed in a beautiful 2br apartment very spacious. Location is close to Darling Harbour by light rail also lots of restaurants & bars to visit at The Star would recommend the Italian restaurant.
