Fantastic night. Enjoyable entertainment. Food was terrific
Pros:

The staff were very welcoming, property was central to what we wanted to do

Cons:

For the price of the hotel I would have expected items such as leaking showers and exterior balcony locks not to be an issue

Great location and near the Lyric Theatre which is great. Wonderful staff and great facilities
Pros:

I was on my own and celebrating an event important to me. I was upgraded unexpectedly and was so grateful and happy that they did this for me and made it so special. The staff are amazing.

Cons:

Second time staying was disappointing and noisy. Not complaining just disappointed. No view of my “Harbour Front” view room.
I’m coming for two nights this time and I’m sure it will be better. I do like staying here and was assured my next visit will not be disappointing. I’m staying two nights and looking forward to it

Amazing place to stay in the Sydney CBD
Pros:

The staff were absolutely wonderful, friendly and helpful. Especially KC. She was fantastic. The property is in a fantastic location and didn’t realise how huge The Star is. Our apartment was amazing. Very clean and lots of room. We would love to stay again sometime.

Cons:

Loved everything but…….the light switches were too technical for me. Something simple would be better.

Pleasant, good location comfy bed but probably won’t return need to change a couple of things to make it “5 star”
Pros:

Clean room upon check in. Comfortable bed. Cool aircon. Blackout blinds. Polite staff at check in desk. Delicious food options. Pool was clean and free shaded and comfortable cabanas a big plus.

Cons:

There was a member of staff at the pool who was a bit rude and left our food on the tray that was brought up from the kitchen and we had to go and ask for it at the pool desk even though we paid a $3 “delivery fee” on top of the pool menu price and it sat on a tray going cold and wasn’t even delivered to us.. Also the room service food menu was a bit of a farce so we ended up ordering from uber eats instead because there was an extra $8.00 room service fee on top of the price.. like we’re not paying enough for the room already! A couple dollars I would understand but $8?? Also check out experience very non personal. Our room sheets were not changed throughout our stay.. and apparently we had “requested this” it was written on our bed side table even though we definitely did not request to not have our sheets changed. Also there was a mini bar menu and our fridge was empty and we had to ask for more coffee and tea replenishment everyday. The room wasn’t sound proof either which you would expect in a 5 star hotel I could hear the elevator dinging all day and night and people screaming up and down the hall kids crying in rooms above and next door also could hear vacuuming through the walls.
