Last week I had the opportunity to visit for first time Hilton Hotel it was a wonderful experience, the food was so delicious and everyone werr so friendly with the service! If you are visiting Guatemala City don't miss to book your stay at Hilton Hotel.

The facilities and the staff were outstanding. A place to go for peace and quiet.
We stayed at the Hilton in Guatemala, and while it’s a cute hotel with some charm, it’s definitely due for some touch ups.
The overall vibe of the property is nice, and the layout is cozy with a classic feel. The staff were polite and welcoming, and we appreciated the general atmosphere. However, it’s clear that certain areas are showing their age—from worn-out furniture to small details that just felt outdated.
The room was decent, but again, you can tell the hotel is overdue for renovations to bring it up to the standard you’d expect from a Hilton. It didn’t ruin our trip by any means—we had an okay stay overall—but I wouldn’t rush back unless I knew improvements had been made.
Still, if you’re looking for a quiet spot with decent service, it’s not a bad option. Just don’t expect modern luxury quite yet.
Hotel smelled very bad
I was disappointed with my experience. I paid for a room with two queen beds, but we were placed in a room with one king bed instead. The front desk said the reservation only showed one adult, though I’m not sure if the app asked for that information or not, either way, the booking clearly stated two queen beds. They tried to resolve the issue by bringing in a rollaway bed, but that wasn’t what I paid for 😒

My wife and I were lounging at the pool and my wife caught some guy behind a tree snapping photos of her. He ran and hid inside the bathroom and locked the door. I was banging on the door, then told an employee what happened using google translate. The employee said he would take care of it, then we heard NOTHING else about it and no one bothered to contact us. Made my wife and I feel so good n safe and gross.
This was a very safe and mostly quiet property away outside of the city. While we were next to a busy street, we were still within a safe zone. Not walkable, and you must have private transportation, overall it was a nice experience.
Place needed major updating … although clean had a smell that we couldn’t place… like water damage covered up by air freshener. Coffee shop on sight didn’t open until after 8am… Bar was small and not well supplied. Everything was a cab ride away nothing within walking distance.
Beautiful hotel and outstanding service! Every detail was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. Highly recommend!
