Pros:

I love this place. I even returned here when I came back to Hanoi a week later. Huge rooms. It’s nice here for half the price of smaller places. 100% recommend!

Hidden gem.
Pros:

The rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly and helps you with almost everything. The shower was warm and powerful. The bed was comfortable. And there is a watching machine and dryer you can use.

Cons:

It doesn't have the best location, but within 5 to 10 minutes walking you are in the middle of Hanoi Oldtown.

If I could add something to the room, this would be a shower curtain between the shower and the toilet. Just to prevent the toilet from getting wet. But this is just a minor inconvenience.

Pros:

The accomodation is on great location but it has some issues with water preasure. We had a room in 6th floor and when we arrived the shower was not running at all. The owner send his father to fix it, but the shower did not have much power. I do have long hair and it would not wash them out of the shampoo. Also the bathroom was little bit smelly. Otherwise the rest was ok, and if the water issue is going to be fixed we would visit this place again.

Pros:

Location was very near the old town, great location to be able to get to most attractions we wanted to get to. Really friendly host.

Cons:

Plumbing issue on arrival meant I was moved to a different homestay for an evening - an unexpected hitch.

Would recommend
Pros:

Spacious room, looks exactly like on the pictures. Feels very comfortable and homey. Host helped me with the taxi driver who tried to scam me, very responsive, helped me take my very heavy suitcase up the fourth floor. Free water fountain. Generally very clean.

Cons:

Always had to cross a bridge to go to the old quarter that, location wise, was not ideal. Bed had some crumbs from the roof on it.

Pros:

Spacious room and nearly close to the old quarter.
Owner was pleasant

Cons:

Poor check in experience
10,000 stairs to our room
Found human toe skin peelings on the bed frame (owner was apologetic and had it cleaned immediately) Will save the booking.com users their stomachs and not post a photo of it
More expensive than previous hotel was stayed in in the middle of the old quarter with a lift, free breakfast, 24hr reception etc so poor value for money
Bed was harder than Fred Flintstone’s kitchen floor
