Stay was fine. Being overcharged and having my concern about the higher rate dismissed by the staff in training was rude
Pros:

This property did not honor the Booking.com rate of $195.85 for my one- night stay. Instead they charged my credit card $342.87. When I spoke with someone on site she was adamant that it was the proper rate and seemed clueless about how to provide a credit. When I contacted Booking.com, I was told I would need to accept the higher charge on my card and send a copy of the credit card bill to Booking.com in order to receive proper credit towards this overcharge. The following day I heard from one of the Hampton representatives who indicated she would provide me with a credit to my account in the amount of $146.98. To date I have not received that credit on my card and it is currently August 8. My credit card still shows the overcharge for this property. I will not be staying here again since they don’t seem capable of honoring the Booking.com rate. If I do not receive a proper credit to my credit card in the next few days, I will be disputing the $342.87 charge.

Better than the hotel next door

Very comfortable
Pros:

Good breakfast. Don't know her name. But the lady at the desk dried a pair of jeans for me when the dryer on my floor was out of otder.

Cons:

Iron was missing dial...almost burned a shirt. Need to update.

We always count on hampton inns to provide a good night.
Pros:

The hotel was ample for our stay, the staff was cordial & helpful. The breakfast was good. The pool was refreshing.

Cons:

The hotel was smelly, the bathroom fan was noisy, the bed was comfortable but wasn't sure of the cleanliness, spots on the sheets & a dead bug between the mattresses. The pool area had open windows with no screens, & water seemed cold with poor circulation.
