Casual Socarrat - Adults Only Hotel

Functional but not fancy. Room seemed bare at best. No warmth to the appearance of room or lobby. Staff very helpful

On arrival we were greeted by a friendly and personable young woman (sorry didn't get her name). Although our room wasn't quite ready she found us another room so we were able to check in immediately which we appreciated, as we'd had an early start from London. Our room, 409, was very clean, with all the facilities to meet our needs. There were no hot drink facilities in our room however we discovered on day 3 of our stay, that we were able to borrow a kettle from reception. We should perhaps have asked sooner.
Breakfast was plentiful with hot options too, and there were different types of milk to suit those with allergies/intolerances which I was grateful for. There are allocated time slots for breakfast allowing half an hour for each time slot. Sometimes guests overstayed their half an hour and it was necessary to queue. Replenishment was slow at times although when asking, food was quickly topped up.
The location of the hotel is perfect to walk to all the most relevant sights, and bus stops are within walking distance too to explore further afield.
All staff we had the pleasure to come in contact with were very friendly and helpful, service with a smile.
The hotel met all our needs for location, cleanliness, friendly staff and good breakfast. We felt it would be good to have a lounge area for those waiting for taxis on departure day, rather than having to sit by the front entrance, or in the dining room. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend.

A/C was good. Bed comfortable. Was in ADA room which was quite large for European room. Small fridge was handy. Breakfast was average but staff was very attentive and friendly.

Room facing street def loud till rather late

The front desk staff were very helpful and welcoming. Our room was facing the street.
It was clean and comfortable and had great, arty decor. A/C worked well & we had everything we needed. We stayed 2 nights, 1st night it was little bit noisy but not the 2nd.
Breakfast was plentiful with hot and cold items. It's in a great location for walking to Valencia's attractions. Highly recommended, I would return.

Camera pulita anche se la doccia era senza tenda/vetro, letto molto grande e comodo; personale disponibile e molto gentile; colazione buona ma si può migliorare; posizione della struttura ottima

Very good

Il soggiorno è stato molto piacevole. L’hotel è in una posizione centrale, a due passi da tutto, anche se questo comporta un po’ di rumore la sera nella via su cui si affaccia. Tuttavia, la comodità del letto compensa ampiamente questo aspetto, facilitando un sonno rapido e profondo. L’unico piccolo difetto del bagno è la doccia priva di tenda, che provoca qualche spruzzo d’acqua sul pavimento, ma nulla di problematico. Molto apprezzata invece la presenza della crema per il corpo. Il personale è stato estremamente gentile: ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli sia prima del check-in sia dopo il check-out e ci ha fornito una mappa con una spiegazione dettagliata delle zone da visitare. Colazione varia e di buona qualità.

Hotel centralissimo. A 350mts dalla fermata metro, autobus che porta all' oceanografico e vicino alle principali attrazioni della città. E comodo per la sera per andare nella parte di movida. Camere piccoline ma carine, ben tenute e particolare lo stile dell' hotel. Letto non comodissimo, morbido, troppo ma questo è molto soggettivo. Sala colazione non molto grande ma il ricambio è veloce, servizio attento e si trova tutto tra dolce salato e buono aggiungerei. Personale molto cortese e disponibile per tutte le info e per aiutarti nell' organizzare la giornata

Zimmertausch von Straßenseite in den Innenhof wegen Lärm war kein Problem.

Tivemos uma estadia muito boa, quartos espaçosos, as meninas da recepção Rosa e Martna foram super atenciosas e simpáticas, uma localização perfeita, perto de varios restaurante e pontos turísticos. O café da manhã era muito variado.

Sehr gute Lage, sehr hilfsbereites Personal! Große Zimmer. Alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Betten sind groß und Zimmer hell. Die Sauberkeit könnte ein wenig optimiert werden. Sonst war alles prima!

We have booked 3 double rooms, identical pricing, and one room was significantly smaller that the other two, and while the two had normal size beds, No. 106 only had a 140 cm bed as a double bed. It was very uncomfortable to be squeezed on a small bed like that. An even bigger problem was that in two rooms (106 and 107) the warm water was almost non-existent, you had to ask every time the front desk to do something and they knew what to do, so obviously were aware of the maintenance issue but during the week the problem was not resolved and we had to shower in cold water almost every day as you do not have 20-30 minutes all the time to wait until the boiler is mended temporarily. The noise sealing is not very good, it is an issue especially on the side of the main road but during Falla at every side.The breakfast was the same every day with decent selection, but you have to book a time slot as the dining room is small. The staff is very friendly and service minded and tried to help with everything. The hotel is clean and overall well maintained (except the boiler issue). Checkout time is 12:00, which is very generous. Location is very well situated, in the heart of the city in walking distance from all attractions and many restaurants. With little adjustments this could be easily an excellent hotel.

Struttura centralissima, personale sempre disponibile, ci siamo sentiti accolti come persone di casa, colazione ottima, abbondante e di qualità con il caffè sia espresso che cappuccino eccezzionali

Hotel location is brilliant, rooms were fine, however being right in the centre of course there was a lot of noise at night particularly at the back of the hotel where there is some form of hall, plus a house being refurbished. For me the bed and pillows were too soft but that’s a personal thing. Breakfast was really good. The real downside was aircon locked at 22 degrees minimum and being off season not on, although it could be put on it warmed to 22 (probably my lack of expertise) and because of the noise we were unable to open the windows
