Pros:

Room was lovely and location was decent. Only about 15 min walk into Edinburgh. Staff were lovely, guy that checked us in and out was great (didnt get his name). Told him it was our anniversary and he gave tokens for a free drink which was a nice touch. When we checked out he offered to store our luggage. Other staff were friendly and made time to help even when they were busy. Also loved the mood lighting in the room

Cons:

Only thing that would have made it better was tea/coffee facilities in the room

Pros:

L'hôtel est très bien situé, proche du château d'Edimbourg et de old town. Le personnel est adorable. La chambre était petite mais très propre et moderne. Le petit déjeuner est varié et très bon.

Cons:

Notre chambre n'avait pas de fenêtre, mais pour deux nuits, cela n'a pas été dérangeant.

A horrible uncomfortable experience had at this expensive 'hotel/hostel'
Pros:

Nothing apart from the location as it was 2 mins away from the Conference Centre

Cons:

Staff were mostly indifferent and up on arrival and seeing my horrible room I went straight back to reception asking to change it and an indifferent Receptionist refused my request.
This hotel was more like a glorified Hostel
The room was cold and the heating took far too long to work
The room at £237 a night was absolutely not worth it
No Tea and Coffee facilities in the room
The room was not clean for my entire 4 day stay. The the bins were not emptied and I had the misfortune of having to use the same bed linen as well as there was no housekeeping

Great value for money
Pros:

Really good hotel - great value for money.
The room was spotless and comfortable.
Breakfast was simple, but it had all the basics.
Position is great - all main attractions are within walking distance.
Staff is great: friendly and helpful.

Pros:

La iluminación era ideal, se podía regular la luz perfectamente, lo cual se agardece en una ciudad tan oscura como Edimburgo. El hotel es muy acogedor y no te da la sensación de estar aislado, porque el personal es muy cercano y disponible. Apreciamos que la habitación tuviera caja fuerte considerablemente grande (cabe un ordenador, por ejemplo). Nos gustó tanto que hasta nos olvidamos los pasaportes al desalojar la habitación la mañana del check-out. Gracias a Dios los trabajadores del hotel se dieron cuenta con el margen de tiempo perfecto y nos dio tiempo a volver a recogerlos e ir al aeropuerto. Ha sido una estancia excelente y la ubicación es perfecta, llegas al centro en 20 minutos caminando.

Cons:

Quizás lo que cambiaría sería la papelera de la habitación, que es demasiado pequeña. Y el hecho de que no haya enchufes en el lavabo también me pareció un poco raro, pero tampoco es dramático.

Cozy and strategic!
Pros:

Excellent location, a ten-fifteen minute walk from the city center and close to Haymarket station. The staff was incredibly kind, and while the room was a bit small, it was cozy and had everything we needed. The small bar counter inside the property, which is always available, was also very nice. I would definitely stay here again

Cons:

Considering the average price in Edinburgh, the cost of breakfast, which could be added to the stay, was a bit too high
