Front desk was so helpful
Muy buena ubicación y servicio
Why would you stay in noisy and crowded Manhattan when you can stay at this place at the base of the Brooklyn Bridge? You're within 200 yards of nearly every subway line and a short walk down Montague to the wonderful Brooklyn Height's Promenade.
My room (382) was was quiet and spacious, especially by NYC standards. The on nit I would pick is the mattress might be replacement because of the divot where people sit on edge.
The M club was OK. Eating breakfast there and grabbing some drinks & snacks for later can save some money.
Every hotel staff person I intercepted at with great from the front desk, servers, housekeeping to security working in the lobby.
Don in the M lounge should no longer work for this hotel. The man showed 0 amount of empathy for me and my coworker after a 14hr shift. I find it insane that this man would be put in the position in the lounge and then he treats people the way that he does. I’ve had some of the most pleasant experiences in other M lounges. I find this hotel the exact opposite.
Good location
I paid in full on booking.com, on check out my personal credit card which i as on file was charged in full again - leading to double charge. Additionally since it was a business trip I paid using booking.com via company - Marriot refusing to issue an invoice claiming that booking.com is responsible for this - I won’t be able to claim business expenses for this trip leading to further expenses.
Overall an extremely average Marriott experiences with a few negatives. The destination fee is absurd and a very obvious cash grab. The other let down was on Fridays the M Club closes promptly at 10am. I understand most M Clubs don’t offer service on the weekends but it was disappointing not to be able to grab a snack or drink during the day. Other than that again a mediocre Marriott experience in the US, it checked all the boxes but didn’t go above and beyond by any means. As a Titanium I was “upgraded” to a city view not even on an executive floor. Back in the day that would’ve been called a last resort courtesy not an upgrade but that’s what passes as Marriott loyalty rewards in 2026. Not the fault of the property necessarily just an annoying reality of Bonvoy as a whole.
I was there for a conference and the conference was at the hotel so it was very convenient.
I have not complaints. I stayed one night and really only slept in the hotel.
Es un lugar súper cómodo y la habitación que nos tocó era silenciosa, todo funciona bien, la calefacción y las camas era cómodas.
En general todo bien, pero se podría agregar algo mejor para el agua caliente o en si defecto poner pijama
A typical mature Marriott found in a busy city but with some big positives. Rooms are clean and warm, bar and food nice and the customer service was excellent. Located 2 mins from the main metro that takes you into manhattan in 20mins. A number of fast food restaurants close by. A good base for some exploring. 15mins walk from Brooklyn bridge
