Nothing
Jay’s energy and passion always makes the Decimo bar my go-to. The team’s knowledge of a wide range of cocktails and spirits is evident and results in fun experimentation of the menu. I look forward to my next visit.
I stayed one night and had a great experience.
The location was wonderful for train travel out of St. Pancras International, which is across the street. Otherwise King's Cross is not my favorite part of London, but it does have great Tube access and is also a short walk to Bloomsbury and other charming neighborhoods.
The building has an interesting history and the hotel has done a great job honoring its modernism whilst converting it to a hotel. While I thought the hallways were a bit drab, the public areas on the ground floor and my guest room and bathroom are very chic. My room had a very thoughtful design. So many other hotels with a 'cool' factor like this one disappoint with IKEA-like furniture and poor functionality. This hotel kept the 'cool' factor while having great, functional design with some quirks that made me smile.
In-room amenities were plentiful (robes, slippers, coffee, water, etc.), the bed was outstanding, the AC worked superbly, the shower had great water pressure, and the room was very quiet.
Staff were helpful at the front desk.
I would not hesitate to return!
Absolutely amazing meal and evening at Decimo. Food and vibe was great, with dj mixing tunes whilst you eat Thanks Luigi for the advice on the food and the mezcal 🙌you were spot on. Fabulous service!
Thanks Tyrese for all the food & drinks recommendations. We had a great time. I'll be back!
Cool atmosphere and great drinks and meals. Special thanks to mr Tysere.
very bougie and cool feeling. the decor is very trendy and eclectic. the rooms are tiny, but i think they're tiny everywhere in london. the best thing is the location. across the street from king's cross??? so convenient! the rooftop view is gorgeous.
The location is absolutely fantastic and incredibly convenient, being directly opposite St. Pancras station.
The hotel building itself has some visually interesting, quirky communal spaces, and the bathroom tiles in our room were lovely. Additionally, the views from the rooftop bar are spectacular—you can see major London landmarks and get a brilliant view of the St. Pancras architecture.
For the premium price, the bedroom was highly disappointing. While I understand they go for a "retro, quirky, compact" aesthetic, it translated to looking very cheap—like a basic collaboration between Premier Inn and IKEA. Being placed on Floor 1 meant our large windows just looked onto a busy road instead of offering any grand views.
Aside from the excellent views, the actual rooftop bar itself was surprisingly basic and did not feel premium at all. It featured the same flat blue decor as our bedroom, which felt completely out of place with the rest of the hotel's character. We had to laugh at how underwhelming the actual venue was, considering how incredibly pretentious they were about what we were wearing. The hostess up there was outright rude, looking my husband up and down with disdain because he had a clean, dark football shirt on (purchased that afternoon due to the heat). She would only allow us to stand at the bar until my husband offered to go change, at which point she finally gave us a table. We walked out of another on-site restaurant later because the staff entirely ignored us.
Most shockingly, on arrival, we were asked to pay upfront and noticed the math didn't add up. When questioned, the receptionist went completely silent; they had sneakily pre-loaded a discretionary "service charge" (staff tip) onto the bill without asking. It felt incredibly underhanded to try and slide that past us before we had even stepped foot in our room. I had to ask for it to be removed. Having stayed at other hotels in the area for the same price, this simply did not feel worth the money.
Lovely room, great shower and bath, well designed bars.
The cheeky "optional 5%" charge on your room to pay for the staff - on what world does your room charge not cover the staff's salaries.... just a way to charge more and not have it headline in the rate in booking.,....
Always like staying here, it’s a very design orientated hotel, maybe not to everyone’s tastes but I love it. V handy for the Eurostar
Some IT issues with checking but they made up for it
Great location, windows could be opened (a real bonus), I requested a quiet room which indeed I got and allowed me to sleep with fresh air. Comfy beds, long elecrical cord on the hard dryer allowing it to plug in the room but use the mirror in the bathroom. Fantastic !
No extension cord (see message what I liked about hair dryer) so could not use the bathroom mirror for styling my hair. The room sleeps 2 people but they only provide 1 coffee bag. I requested more from the concierge (which they brought promptly) and again the next day, the same thing: only one coffee bag. Why ?
Loving sitting at the counter watching the place have fun. Incredible food plates and Beni at the bar is incredibly attentive and mixes a mean cocktail can recommended the Honey Sour Thanks Beni!
Shout out to Andrea, he’s an excellent bartender and has such a kind soul. He was attentive and made our experience worth while and we will definitely be back.
I love Andrea he is an amazing bartender.
Luigi was absolute perfection - from guiding the cocktails, to the selection of mains, Caesar salad by tableside to a sublime cholate mousse with espresso martinis with a much welcome twist.
We came to celebrate our anniversary and safia made it special. Great food and even better service.
Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Great place to try and enjoy several small dishes.
The design of the restaurant is very aesthetic and the atmosphere is relaxed and inviting.
Nothing beats that view from the 10th floor!
The experience was elevated by the exceptional service: Safia was very friendly and approachable, recommending good dishes to pair up.
