Fab hotel, great rooms, comfy bed
That still water was charged. it seems a basic offer, like tea and coffee
Excellent location close to train station. Very clean. Nice bar area.
It was super clean and the bed was so comfy
Nothing to comment here
Breakfast was so busy and had to wait. Food was very good but I thought expensive and I’m not poor
Super emplacement juste à côté de la gare. Nous avions choisi la chambre familiale qui était assez spacieuse. Équipe très sympa.
Les lits ne sont pas très grands pour cette catégorie d’hôtel
The location is excellent for an early morning Eurostar. The decor was cool and the windowless room was very relaxing. Highly recommend
The only thing the room could do with a bigger bin and a couple of hooks in the entrance for wet coats.
The hotel exceeded my expectations of cleanliness. Well the room had a weird smell, but I opened the window and soon it was ok. But the towels were soft, no old stains and smelled fresh. The carpet was do clean that I felt that I could walk barefoot on it. The sheets on the bed were divine - smelled clean, crisp, fresh and again no weird hairs or old stains on them.
1. There was a smell in the room when I entered. i assume due to lack of air, as I opened the window and soon it dissapeared. As I was given a free upgrade (thank you!!!), I did not ask for a different room. The rooms of my friends (2 other rooms) - did not have smells.
2. The first night a fire alarm woke us up at 10:30pm. We got dressed and were ready to leave but then we saw no one else in the hollways. We decided to call reception and were told that it was a false alarm - that’s great, but would have been nice to be informed about it being a false alarm maybe through the same way as about the alarm.
Great location, have stayed here before and there’s lots to do in and around King’s Cross - also great for train connections. Hotel is very modern. If you pay for a slightly better room then you’ll get a decent size room with everything you need.
Despite checking in and confirming with the front desk that I had already pre paid for my stay with booking.com, I have since been charged again on my credit card. I emailed the property both via booking.com (who gave me another front desk email to use), and to the Front Desk email provided but it’s been a week and no one bothered to get back to me. I called the hotel the following Friday and they assured me they would refund me the £250 charge straight away and email me confirmation of the refund but have yet to receive confirmation of this. Glad I checked my credit card statement as otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed the double charge.
The upstairs bar is also very overpriced. £60 for 3 cocktails!

Location and quirky design features of the hotel
We had a window less room. The design of the room was great it wasn’t apparent there was no window. However during the night the room became stuffy for me.
Perfect location. Love the design style of the hotel. Perfect views!
Room and bed for the price we paid could be a big bigger
