Nice hotel....the staff were terrific. Not a lot of food options around the property...but, overall, a nice hotel.

Really appreciated that the room was able to be kept dark and it was so quiet at night.

Property needs love and upgrades. The picture I uploaded of the flag is very disappointing. Florida I thought was Amazing and was proud to fly our flag 😠

This hotel is tired and definitely needs a refresh. Hallway carpet is dingy. Rooms are nice, but housekeeping service is not up to snuff. Our dishwasher never worked, even though we asked to have it repaired. Lastly, one evening we came back and we smelled burning electrical went down to the front desk. The attendant came down to look they could not find the source told us to sleep with the windows open and to call if we had any further problems. The next day, the head maintenance man did come in and was unable to determine where the smell came from. A very frightening experience, considering I had an elderly guest with me. We were never compensated for the stress that it caused. This is usually the hotel we stay at since my daughter goes to school in Sarasota. Regretfully I think we’ll be finding another hotel.

Everything was good

I recently stayed at the Residence Inn Sarasota Bradenton while in town for work. At first glance, the hotel seemed decent and in a nice area. The young lady who checked me in was pleasant and professional, which gave me a good first impression.

However, things took a turn when I got to my room. I immediately noticed small bugs (smaller than ants) on the kitchen counter, and upon closer inspection, there were quite a few of them. I reported this to the front desk right away, and the young lady informed me—rather nonchalantly—that her husband would spray the next day. She offered to move me to a smaller studio room instead, but I declined, asking that the current room be sprayed.

Unfortunately, things only got worse. When I returned to the room, there were even more bugs—not just in the kitchen, but also in the bathroom and bedroom. This was extremely disappointing and unacceptable for a hotel of this standard.

The staff’s lack of urgency in addressing the issue, combined with the worsening conditions in the room, left me feeling frustrated and dissatisfied with my stay. I would not recommend this location unless they address these cleanliness and pest control issues immediately.

Have enjoyed this residence inn many times. This stay was as expected. Staff is friendly and helpful especially at the front desk.

The space of the unit was nice! The breakfast also was very nice. I enjoyed the fresh oatmeal and many toppings, including the cinnamon. I would like it more if it didn’t have the popcorn ceiling. Some upgrades to the building to make it more modern would be nice for the price. Other than that, great stay!

Would’ve loved a better price due to hurricane evacuation. Would’ve liked an earlier check in due to hurricane evacuation. Would’ve loved a later check out due to airline rescheduling due to hurricane evacuations. Was there four days and nobody cleaned our room. Also their coffee is gross. Way too strong like mud! The best part was Carey the desk lady.

Great hotel! Clean, quiet with very friendly staff!

My husband and I were supposed to only stay 2 weeks, but kept having to extend our stay due to unforeseen circumstances.
Management and all the staff, especially Zoe, Keri and Salina and the night staff could not have been more kind,
understanding and accommodating!! We felt very welcomed!!
Thank you so much for a great stay!! We will definitely be coming back!!
