The location is very convenient and has access to over night parking
The hotel is now very old and is in dire need of a refit. There is paint peeling everywhere, thread hair carpets line the halls and the whole place feels lack lustre. The access to the spa from the hotel made you feel like you’re in a service lift and like you were in the wrong place. The ‘spar’ was more of a pool in a room attached to the hotel. Not a place to relax on that’s for sure. In summary it 5 star in the fact it has the facilities availability to qualify but falls very far from a 5 star luxurious hotel.
Clean, comfortable beds and the location is very good
Waiting staff in the breakfast area need a bit more training in addressing the guests.

We popped in for a coffee in the afternoon , as we had been in Chelsea for the day. Beautiful location and view and fabulous greeting by the doorman. Sadly, this is where the service then declined…. I had a tea and my husband had coffee, which were lovely. Tea was brought without milk/lemon and we had to wait ages to ask for milk and it took even longer to arrive.
We asked for a scone/small cake, as we saw a full afternoon tea being served, so knew this was available. We were told there wasn’t anything available to give us and on enquiring further, not even a biscuit.
This hotel is classified as 5-star, which it achieves for its location….and that is ALL!
We were told that 2 staff were training, which was the reason for the poor service, really…?
Another guest was at the bar complaining about the awful service waiting for their drinks.
There are many other 5 star and indeed 4star hotels in London that give better service - go to any other of you value good service.
The room with the Harbour view was amazing.
Staff in the restaurant were not that attentive.

We had a lovely lunch at the Anchor restaurant, Our waiter Reagon was attentive and very helpful which added to our experience of the lovely harbour surroundings.

Reddy was so helpful and welcoming. He helped us in the morning with our breakfast as we didn’t know what to order! 10/10 customer service and will definitely come back as the hotel was lovely.
Udon was a very helpful concierge - sorted out my parking.
We had a great stay. The hotel is very nice and comfortable in a very good location. The staff is very kind and helpful, from the doormen to the cleaning ladies, front desk and waiters. Fahad, at the front desk during the night shift was extremely attentive and eager to help for any advice or request made from our part. Will definitely return.
