It’s a tired hotel. Staff weren’t particularly friendly. We were given late check out and then we had three different staff members knocking on the door not realising we’d been given late check out.
Excellent central location by the lake and main cbd shops restaurants and bars
Pillows were very comfortable
The hotel room was extremely noisy. The walls were so thin we could regularly hear other people’s conversations and morning alarms. We could even hear the plumbing and water noise when other people were taking a shower or using their sink. Every morning we were also woken by banging noises from housekeeping and noises from the breakfast area near us.
The room was not very clean. There were stains on the carpet and the balcony was not well kept.
There was no free onsite parking which was very inconvenient and the room lacked basic toiletries such as shower caps and vanity kits.
The shower was jn poor condition and sprayed up in different directions. Overall the bathroom was very small and needs renovation.
The hotel gym is a tiny room of 4 cardio machines only so this was not usable for us.
We could also hear the elevator ding from our room. basic toiletries like earbuds etc
The wifi connection was poor and the tv was not a smart tv like expected, it just had access to some apps but not the ones we were wanting.
The high price point for this property is not justified as the overall quality is extremely poor.

Breakfast was great, a little slow to replenish food
Parking was a nightmare. No on site parking left & a lot of the close parking in the street was blocked off apparently for an event but nothing going on while we were there.
Rooms could do with an update.
Awesome location, modern, great breakfast
Hot tub was not Hot, and half of jets not working, however duty manager made it up to us with free breakfast. It’s not the problem, it’s how you rectify it that counts most!!!

Getting a bit dated
It is in a great location which makes it easy to walk to the centre of Queenstown, the parks, lakefront and a myriad of activities.
Staff were lovely and room servicing very good.
Rooms were clean and spacious. Our bed was extremely comfortable.
Bathroom facilities are not great. We don’t like showers in a bathtub. The shower head threw water everywhere making the bathroom a place to take extreme caution.
The cost of valet parking is steep but there is little other option. Par for the course in Queenstown, but a hefty hike in the cost of your stay.
