Good location but customer service need improvement

Location of the hotel

Cons:

No smile on the staff. Upon check in at the lobby, was told that room is not ready. Was brought up to the club lounge as I booked club room. Had to check in at the club lounge again and was told room is ready. No consistency. Toilet flush is weak. Upon getting the room key, was told that luggage will send to my room. I waited for 20mins and went out for about 1 hour, back to my room and the luggage is still not in my room. Had to go back club lounge and demand an explanation. Terrible.

Good stay for family
Pros:

Everything went well. But we had to wait a little longer for the rooms. It was a peak period so early check in was a normal check in.

Great business staycation.
Pros:

Breakfast is awesome.
Pool and jacuzzi is nice, but the gazebos to relax can be cleaner with better upkeep.

Cons:

Room is small, and not up to the size standards as compared to many other hotel brands. More can be improved on the size and layout of the room / bathroom.
Bathroom glass door doesn't close properly and not feasible / could be hazardous. A normal wooden door would work better.
Carpark should be complimentary. RM6.60 per entry is a little too much. Many other hotels do not even charge for carpark.

Cons:

Ask for complimentary birthday cake..didnt get..just get simple deco..check in almost at 5pm for twin room..
The toilet smells bads for king room.
