Pros:

The only thing going for this hotel is the location, and they charge accordingly.
Thank goodness the bed was comfortable.

Cons:

Woefully average room where you pay premium prices. Decor is a bit out of date. I just can't get past how much they charge for such an average room. Shower was pretty subpar, can count on limited water pressure.

Convenient and comfortable.
Pros:

The location was superb, really close to circular quay. The rooftop bar with its view of the Opera House - once the huge cruise ship had moved!!

Awful. Overpriced. Would be lucky to class this as a 2 star hotel.
Pros:

The location. Only the location.

Cons:

The bathrooms are disgusting and filthy and don’t look like they’re cleaned often, shower had no water pressure. Incredibly noisy, can hear all the noise from outside, whether it’s trucks or people partying. One of the reception males is incredibly rude and needs some customer service lessons.

I wouldn’t even give this hotel 2 stars.
Pros:

Convenient location.

Cons:

Filthy bathrooms with hair from previous people in it.
Mould on the ceiling and walls.
Grout filthy.
Bath filthy.
Paper thin walls.
Rude reception staff (the one I dealt with was male).

Rundown very disappointed with the condition. Felt like we should have been charged hourly rate. Electrical plug-ins are worn, and they won't hold a phone charger.

Great value, excellent location especially for a cruise.
Pros:

A bargain hotel for the price and location. The beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp and soft bedding.

Excellent location, right by the ferry terminal, train and tram. Move anywhere with ease.

The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

We stayed here before a cruise and it was so close we could see the ship and an easy walk to board.

The hotel is old and this shows in the finishings of the room, however, for the price point, it is priced well and totally worth it.

Cons:

The bathrooms could do with some renovation.

Top Lage in The Rocks und toller Dachpool
Pros:

Die Lage ist absolut spitze, perfekt um die bekanntesten Sehenswürdigkeiten von Sydney zu Fuß zu erkunden. 5 min zum Circular Quai, 10 min zum Opera House, mitten in The Rocks mit tollen Restaurants und Bars.
Die Zimmer sind sauber und für die Lage zweckmäßig absolut okay. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und gut.
Das absolute Highlight ist der Pool auf dem Dach mit Blick auf die Skyline, Oper und Harbour Bridge über den gesamten Hafen, mit beheiztem Whirlpool. Einfach traumhaft.

The location could not be better. The staff were all friendly, efficient, helpful and knowledgeable.
