The staff were wonderful and the breakfast beautiful
Pros:

The Staff. All very polite and welcoming especially Josh in concierge and Steven in valet parking. All enquiries prior to our arrival were handled positively.

Cons:

The uncleanliness of the room. We had to move a bed and found food and clothing under it

Cons:

After check in I waited in the foyer for my girlfriend. So I ordered a coffee in the main foyer, paid the money, and after asking the staff 2 times to help pls....it never ever came!
I had to go up to my room n ring room service who said they NEVER got the message!!! so we started again!!!
They were very good, very helpful and I got what I asked for. Why was something so simple, made so difficult???

Very disappointing stay, especially for such a large and well-reputed hotel. The room was not properly cleaned, basic amenities were missing, and overall standards were below expectations. There was no crockery in the room and the hair dryer was missing from the bathroom — things that should be standard at this level. For the price and reputation, this hotel seriously underdelivered.

Customer service was exceptional, could not fault. My husband was made to feel very welcome.
Pros:

Exceptional customer service from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. Valet parking was super handy at the Hotel.

Cons:

Accommodation was booked by myself on behalf of my husband via Booking.com who was attending a business function in the city. When placing the initial booking, I mentioned my husband was the one staying. There was some confusion re the booking name when my husband arrived at the Hotel. Staff kept saying my name not husband's and seemed confused understandably, this also happened at the restaurant when when he went for Breakfast. This was stipulated with booking.com and obviously not relayed to the Hotel. Not hotel's fault.
