Great location and a fine stay
Pros:

Most convenient location. Hotel was clean, comfortable, welcoming and bright. Breakfast was top-notch. New Year's eve dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. Terrace location to watch the fireworks was a good touch, with heaters to keep us comfy.

Cons:

Admittedly we visited at peak time (New Year Eve) but the room rates were very high & not cancellable once booked. For international travellers this is rather inconvenient, especially when splashing out over GBP 6000 for 4 nights stay (11 pax).

Excellent stay in Queenstown.
Pros:

The Crowne Plaza is located directly across from the street from the Steamer Wharf where there are lots of restaurants and the TSS Earnslaw docks alongside. Views of the lake from the restaurant are unobscured. All of the downtown area is within a short walking distance.

Cons:

The only two recommendations I have would be to update the computers in the Business Office (outdated and slow), and to put a shower mat in the bathrooms. I had to be very cautious taking a shower to make sure that I didn't slip.

Wonderful room on the third floor overlooking Queenstown!!
Friendly Staff in the Front Office.
Lovely Team in the Restaurant.
Thank you for a Birthday Gift in the room on our arrival, and also at my Birthday Dinner on 26th.

For what we paid, the view itself is not worth it. Rooms need work.
Pros:

Location is exceptional overlooking the lake and the reception/service staff were great.

Cons:

Ripped curtains. Cheap, filthy table on the balcony.
