After being a top tier loyal member to EVT, Discovery, Hilton Honors, Bonvoy & All Accor, I decided to stay at an IHG property in Broadbeach. Check in was great, the room is spacious and clean. Balcony is small I can't stand on it. View was good, wifi also good. Bed comfy but not sure why hotels use the wheels on beds, so old school. Had dinner at Relish, slow staff yet only a few tables. Had to order drink by 2 or 3 because we hated waiting for staff. Last morning had an issue with the kitchen but couldn't get through. For 40 mins I was unable to get any staff on the phone. It's actually quite ridiculous. At the time of this review I still haven't heard from the restaurant manager regards my complaint. Lastly carpark is great. Shooeys by far a great place to drink with great company.

Buffet breakfast has variety of food, fresh cooked.
Room was outdated. TV was so old and tiny and barely functional.
Bed was uncomfortable with thin quilt (not warm for winter).
Only provided 3 shower towels for 4 guests.
Worst part was the longest check in we had. Only 2 staff attended and more than 5-5 group of guests waited, another staff just left not helping other guests.

That the alarm clock in our room went off at midnight, when I told reception the next morning, they noted it down but didn't seem to care
The tv didn’t have Netflix nor did the connection last at times.
The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The shower was hot and there was excellent water pressure even up on the 24th floor. The view was amazing from the room and the balcony. The room was extremely clean.

The room service was appalling even my children wouldn’t eat the food. The buffet was overpriced with minimal options.
