Comfortable and Reliable Stop
Pros:

Introduction
We stayed at this hotel twice during our road trip through New Zealand. The first time was on a rainy day just before heading to the South Island, and the second time was right before flying to our next destination. On both occasions, the hotel proved to be a comfortable and convenient stop.

Check-in
Both check-ins were smooth and efficient. The process was quick, and we received very good rooms each time without any issues.

The Room
The room was very comfortable. The bed was excellent and provided a great night’s sleep, exactly what you hope for after a long travel day. The shower was good, and there were plenty of power outlets, which made it easy to charge devices.

The Pool and Wellness Area
This was actually the main reason we chose to return. The hotel has a fantastic pool, along with a hot pool and an ice bath, plus a sauna. It’s a great wellness setup and perfect for relaxing after a day of travel or sightseeing.

Breakfast
Breakfast was good. Nothing overly extravagant, but solid, fresh, and exactly what you need to start the day.

Dinner
We ordered the mixed grill with steak, lamb, and short ribs, and it was excellent. A real recommendation if you dine at the hotel.

Conclusion
We would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers passing through Wellington. It’s comfortable, well-located, and offers great facilities.
If you are heading to the South Island, this is likely one of the last upscale hotels you will encounter for a while, making it an ideal final stop before continuing your journey.
