Bett, Matratze war katastrophal, extrem weich und durchgehangen, komplett unbrauchbar?
Im Frühstückraum ging es zu und her wie bei McDonalds. Keine Privatsphäre, viel zuwenig Platz,
Personal überfordert! Speisen waren soweit gut!
Es gab um Mitternacht einen Alarm, wir mussten sofort evakuieren! Klar alles sofort gemacht! Viele Leute auf der Strasse mit Feuerwehr usw! Vom Hotel was kein Mensch zu sehen, Frauen mit Kleinkindern, komplett unbetreut! Weder unten auf der Strasse noch im Hotel have es jemanden der uns informiert hat! Irgend jemand, unbekannt, nicht vom Hotel , winkt dann wir können wieder rauf!
Danach sitzt uns der Schreck in den Knochen, keine Information von Hotelseite, keine Entschuldigung, schon gar keine Entschädigung, ein warmes Getränk wäre das Minimum gewesen !
Völlig unvorbereitet und völlig überfordertes Personal, gut war es ein Fehlalarm! Der Grund ? Keine Info, auch nicht am nächsten Tag!
Im ganzen Stickwerk hat es schon den ganzen Tag enorm gestunken! Der Fehlalarm könnte wohl mit den Sanierungsarbeuten im Zusammenhang stehen!

Une localisation idéale et un très bon confort pour découvrir Wellington

Sa localisation qui est proche de l’arrivée des ferry (ce qui nous a arrangé car nous sommes arrivés à plus de minuit) et le confort de la chambre
La capacité de pouvoir laisser notre voiture au parking de l’été.

Cons:

Nous n’avons pas pu profiter du confort de l’hôtel car nous sommes arrivés trop tard suite à des problèmes de ferry.

Very disappointing for the price point

Cons:

The mattress topper was bunched up in the centre, resulting in sleeping on a lean. It was very uncomfortable. The light control switch box on the wall near the bed was too bright and lit up the room so much it was difficult to sleep. The bathroom floor was dirty along the edges - it looked like a very half done clean.

Great location. Fabulous breakfast.
The staff were nice and helpful. The swimming pool was nice and deep. Great restaurants near by. The bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud.

Good city centre accommodation …
Pros:

The Intercontinental is a large city centre hotel in Wellington. Whilst it offers good 5* accommodation it suffers with a lack of personality and care that smaller hotels can afford. We explained at check in that we were light sleepers but we were given a room on the third floor where we could hear traffic and hotel maintenance. That aside rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is perfectly positioned in the centre of town.
