Everything
No complaints
Really comfortable bed and pillows. Great shower setup. Loved the location.
Only inconvenience is that there was no allowance for a late checkout even for extra payment. Makes a late afternoon flight less than ideal.
Great central location, easily accessible by car.
A lovely room in a great hotel.Location was brilliant

The staff were very helpful and hotel excellent value and the location easy to find

We loved our room and the lovely spa facilities. The bed was comfortable and the room had a great shower. It was great to be in a city centre location yet close to the water.
The car park access was quite tricky, partly due to ongoing renovations.
We arrived from Napier, dropped off the rental car…and then took a cab to the hotel.
The InterContinental is a very modern hotel, in a great location, which allowed us to make the most of our time in Wellington!
It’s really close to the cable car on Lambton Quay, as well as being only a two minute walk to the waterfront itself!
Extremely comfortable bed…heaven - and I don’t sleep that well!!!
On many levels, this property and our stay is 5 stars. Our room is spacious, well appointed and the view is great. It has been recently renovated and all the modern technologies are well integrated into a coherent ecosystem. The location is central to the harbour entertainment precinct, but a little further north of the main shopping district.
Staff are uniformly friendly and provided excellent service. Shout out to Devon(sp?) in the club lounge. He is first amongst equals. Speaking of the club lounge, it is not a large space, but it is a comfortable one and a little haven for us.
Now, a first world problem which soured my experience a little. The amount of pre arrival communication is excessive. Most of them are computer generated. When we booked an extra "experience", we received even more emails. Several actually contained incorrect information. When I seek some clarification via return emails, they were unanswered for over 24 hours. It was finally resolved when I sent a "please explain" email to a human staff member.
While I understand a lot of this are automated, it is not a good look when it felt more like AI slop. Instead of showcasing customer care, it signals that you are just an entry in the booking system.
Yes, it is a first world problem. It is only worthy of mentioning because everything else was great.
