The Hotel La Rose is perfectly situated in a historic part of Santa Rosa, with plenty of small shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is also quite historical -- beautiful inside and out. Our room was very comfortable and well furnished. Our bed was equally comfortable. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful at every opportunity. A great stay all-in-all. We will stay there again, and definitely recommend to others. Thanks Hotel La Rose!
Great location, charming, very comfortable.
Really loved the hotel.
Great location. Friendly staff. Nice antique furnishings.
Flooring a bit worn
I recently stayed at Hotel La Rose for over an extended period of time while navigating an unexpected and uncertain situation with a hospitalized family member, and I cannot say enough about how incredible the staff and management were throughout my entire stay.
From the very beginning, they were incredibly accommodating and flexible, especially given that my timeline kept changing. They made what could have been a very stressful experience feel supported and seamless, always ensuring I had what I needed.
The entire team, from the front desk to housekeeping, was consistently kind, welcoming, and attentive. Housekeeping was especially friendly and reliable, and every interaction with the staff felt genuine and caring.
A special thank you to Pablo and Allison, who truly went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of during a difficult and uncertain time. Their level of care and professionalism did not go unnoticed and made a lasting impression.
The hotel itself is charming, comfortable, and in a great location with plenty of excellent food options nearby, which made an extended stay even more enjoyable.
I’m deeply grateful for the experience I had here and would highly recommend Hotel La Rose to anyone looking not just for a place to stay, but for a team that truly cares about their guests.
Always a clean beautiful room in this old but well maintained hotel. Close to everything restaurants shops Smart train etc..
Delightful accomodations, great staff, walkable location to downtown!
i didn’t request a quiet room.
i love that the hotel is attached to grossman’s noshery!

Location.
Comfort.
Clean.
Daily housekeeping.
Very weak WiFi in the room.
No breakfast.
Expensive parking.
Clean and comfortable bed after 24 hrs of international travel. Shower felt great. I would recommend the Hotel Rose and I will stay here again if the need arises again. It would have been nice if coffee or tea was offered in the morning instead of having to purchase overpriced drinks next door.
So many historic buildings have been gutting and modernized but not Hotel La Rose. It’s in beautiful condition and feels like you’re stepping back in time to 1907. I stayed in room 44, the Frank Doyle Room who is very much worth looking up and learning about. Beautiful antique furniture, a massive and extremely comfortable bed, and one the coolest toilet I’ve ever used. The staff was kind and helpful, the room was clean, there were walkable food options, and it was just a cool experience staying in such a historic hotel. Way more interesting than the other options in town. If I’m ever in Santa Rosa again, I’ll stay here.
This is my home away from home. Its beautiful and has lots of atmosphere, and most important! Great housekeeping.
Stay was lovely in the main hotel, love the antique style rooms. Bed was a little soft and caused back issues. A little noise from the city but it was nice to have a view of the railroad area. Train noise wasn't too loud. Room got warm easily, nice windows to let in fresh air.
Grossmans "room service" was not room service, it was takeout. Advertised that it would be delivered to our room if we included room number. We thought we might get real utensils as well. They called to have us go down to the restaurant to pick up and gave plastic cutlery, which is fine, but we would have just ate downstairs if it wasn't true room service. Tipping 20% on a takeout order was a waste in this case.
