Had to walk up 4 flights of stairs. My room was a very small old single. No microwave or fridge.

Cons:

Elevator broken - signs said we could get help carrying our bags upstairs but no help was offered (it was late). Desk clerk seemed unconcerned - she did offer to change our room to ground floor in annex, but we had specifically reserved room in historic facility.
We were quite surprised to be charged for parking. We have stayed here se eral times and their parking lot was always free.

Wonderful.
Pros:

The hotel and room had lovely character. Decorated in Victorian period.

Cons:

Operating elevator would have been a big help but we had help with the luggage, which we appreciated.

Great location in central Santa Rosa
Pros:

Great location I’m Santa Rosa. We attended a wedding and the staff was very accommodating with letting us drop off our car/luggage and check in later in the evening. Junior suite was spacious and comfortable.

Cons:

Elevator was out of order. It appears to have been down for about a month.

Looked so good in the ad, but not updated. Very 1970’s decor. Too bright, not sufficient window covers. Skid row location, felt dangerous. Room and courtyard stunk. Noisy fan, rattling all night.

Pros:

Beautiful old 1907 stone building and period accurate decor. Good restaurants nearby. Staff were very nice and accommodating. Quiet and confortable. chute downtown location.

Cons:

Parking fee and offsite near a homeless housing building. Had to haul all belongings down the street and upstairs to the 3rd floor due to the elevator not working.

It is a wonderful place to stay.
Pros:

The rooms are clean and comfortable. The atmosphere is charming, the location is fantastic, and the staff are professional and thoughtful.

Cons:

The pillow are very uncomfortable and although there are extra pillows, there are no extra blankets.

Beautiful, clean, and comfortable
Pros:

The room was gorgeous and huge. I loved the vintage vibes. Great location. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Really soft and comfortable beds.

Cons:

I did not have a problem with this, but it is right by the train tracks so you can hear the trains go by. Again, didn’t bother me but might be a consideration for others.
