It was a great experience to remember Eureka.
Pros:

A historic building with the ambience and decor of olden times. Quaint.

Cons:

Parking was a bit inconvenient as my husband has a bout of mobility issue. Getting the bags in was quite a distance.

Pros:

The character of the building and the decor was exceptional, staff awesome, they had live music one night which we found very entertaining. If the walls could've talked we would've stayed even longer. A definite 2 thumbs up!
We wish we could find more like this..

Cons:

The fact that we may never find another.
Eureka Inn spoiled us!

We will probably stay here again because it’s in a great location fo our travels and has personality. And I didn’t see a
Pros:

I love the old building. The rooms feel like a step back in time. The staff was friendly. The lounge wasn’t open when we were there, but in the past, has been a relaxing place to sit for hours and visit with my person.

Cons:

The shower was slippery! There were no non-slip grids. Small beans compared to how cool the place is. Also, I thought it would be romantic to see if the place was haunted, so I googled it. Turns out, people reported creepy ghostly encounters on the very floor we slept on. That actually wasn’t romantic after all. I laid awake all night wondering if every noise was a ghost that saw what I googled on my phone.

Overall a nice hotel, but there are some challenges.
Pros:

As always, the staff were kind, exceptional, and able to check us in and out quickly and easily.

Cons:

The window in my room did not close. We were on the third floor with older windows, but not being able to have a closing window made me nervous to sleep or leave the room. Also, the bathroom was so small, the door couldn't fully because the toilet was in the way. Additionally, there was not much storage space in the bathroom for toiletries because there was a tiny free standing sink with a very small drawer. Finally, construction around the area made driving slightly challenging because we were not prepared. Is there a way to let guests know what to expect ahead of time?
