Birthday getaway
Pros:

Had a nice time this stay. We stayed in room 106. It was spacious and comfortable. We were able to store our bikes at a seating area in front of our entry way. The breakfast buffet was always amazing. We walked to the beach to view the sunset a few days. The pool was a nice reprieve with temps in their 80s. All on all this was a perfect spot.

Besser geht’s kaum!
Pros:

Selten in so einem schönen Hotel gewohnt. Ein Traum! Die Zimmer sind wunderbar, das Personal unfassbar freundlich, das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich toll und die Bar muss man unbedingt besuchen!

The bathroom door was faulty and we had to deal with not having a bathroom door that can close the entire time. The staff was notified but were unable to resolve the issue and did not even contact us after we cheeked out of the hotel.

Great first impression; La Playa is comforting Lodge. Dean who checked us in was charming and unders
Pros:

Very generous buffet. The food was continuously replenished with more when things got low. Good coffee! Lovely staff who came by to see if there was anything more that they could offer us. Wonderful view.

Cons:

I’m not a breakfast food person, I would have liked a lot more fresh veg and fresh fruit. Sautéed spinach? Berries? Compote? Fresh cheese. Peanut butter over by the toaster with the jam?
