First off…hugely irritated that a hotel, in the suburbs, with plenty of parking with huge parking lots, charges an additional fee of $15/night to park your vehicle.
Very tasty coffee (BUT coffee only available at bfast!).
Nice bfast, but the hotel was sold out (and it’s big…6 floors). Yet, when the person bringing food out, she would bring a small amount out, which was grabbed up by the first 3 or 4 people in line. Seems like someone would have figured out how to bring out 4 times as much food.
We had a wheelchair accessible room. Odd that there was a tub (grrr) AND the towels were in the tub area (behind the curtain) AND 6’ up on a shelf! Now, how would my hubby be able to grab a towel if I wasn’t there?
Everyone at the front desk was exceptionally nice and helpful.
Location. Walking distance to the mall.
Having to pay for parking. Every Hyatt Place operators differently and this is the first property I have stayed that parking was not free for the guest.
The facility & amenities are fine. However, we were not provided a written receipt of our stay & told to get this info from Booking. They charged me for incidentals, but not certain if it was refunded. How can I verify the expenses that I may have been charged without my knowledge? For example, my daughter & son stayed while I stayed there. They had one vehicle, yet was charged $30.00 each for parking for one vehicle! This is ludicrous!
See above. I demand a response to obtaining a written receipt for my stay, so I can verify the charges.
The staff was great and communicated throughout my stay. The really only downside was the breakfast. The food was held in this heavy a$$ lids like dutch ovens. Poor kid in front of me couldn't hardly lift the lid. After you lift lid no place to put your plate down to fill it. No hot oatmeal ready and the pan that carried the french toast, pancakes and waffles was always very soggy. Get a waffle maker! Also, the bathroom is a little tight. The staff Victoria and Kris? (Overnight guy) were awesome.
One of the keys issued didn't work to open the door or pool
We enjoyed our stay.
What i didnt enjoy was paying 15.00 per day for parking. Obviously we need to park so i paid but it should be included.
Clean, best hotel breakfast, nice pool, friendly staff, nice room with comfy beds, good location.
$15 PER DAY parking fee??? Uncool.
The side door key pad was broken, which was a minor inconvenience
Was in town for a grad party. Picked the Hyatt Place for its location and price. The value was way better than expected. Clean, stylish rooms. A better than expected complimentary breakfast. Free bottled water as much as you need! The staff was very friendly and hard working. Thank you!
Easy access to food, shopping and transportation.
Yes, the room appearance was very clean. The bathroom has a nice set up to use shampoo, conditioner, body wash witch really like. The bed was comfortable and relaxing. TV was easy to use no complains. The second stay overnight, morning breakfast was excellent on Sunday morning.
The swimming pool a little cold. I staid two nights. My first morning breakfast was not great tater tots and the little round canadine bacon and waffles had a weird techier.
First time l've wrote a review before even checking out for positive reasons, but I usually forget to write one otherwise and I wanted to make sure I said how impressed I was with the team at this hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful at check in, asking me if I wanted water, if I needed anything when I was sitting down before checking in, remembered my name. Room clean and in good condition. Then at breakfast they were clearly at capacity in terms of guests but it seemed like the whole team (including what appeared to be managers) were happily pitching in to keep things very clean, well stocked, running smoothly, etc.
I've stayed at many Hyatt houses/ places where breakfast gets messy, unstocked, etc and if you show up towards the end food is scarce. But everything was the opposite here. Staff asking if we found everything ok. I'm maybe making assumptions here but at some hotels certain staff would probably think something isn't their job or beneath them, but it seemed like this whole team knew in advance breakfast was going to be crowded and they were prepared with overflow space and still made it a positive guest experience. It's the little things and I noticed! Also was surprised to see a woman who was still at the front desk at 10:15pm last night (and at 4pm checkin) already back with a smile on her face at 8:45am…or maybe she never left, either way she’s hard working. Seemed like very good/professional communication among the team itself from the little I observed as I happened to be sitting in the lobby doing emails for almost an hour before checking in.
Oh, I almost forgot since I didn’t have car overnight, the $15 nightly parking charge in a location like this is definitely annoying and seems excessive, but otherwise all good.
This Hyatt was a wonderful experience. Very good property, great location. But by far the best part of the experience was the staff. Very professional, very friendly always greeted us with a smile and rapidly responded to any requests we had.
It was a perfect experience. Quite enjoyable.
