Springhill Naperville/Warrenville
Pros:

I hotel was located in a location near Naperville/Warren which I think it the most important of a hotel stay. Rooms are spacious, clean and the value was good.

The Front Desk is the Problem, Housekeeping is only the Hammer.
Pros:

I made my original rez thru Marriott.com, with points.
With a call to Marriott, I extended my stay one day with $$, well before arrival.

On check-in, the Front had trouble figuring out my extension (the website makes a big deal about how easy it is), but found it and 'made a note'. I was to stay in the same room.
The night before original check-out day, I called the Front to refresh them and verify that we'd agreed to the extension, and THAT I DIDN'T WANT HOUSEKEEPING TO DISTURB ME IN THE MORNING. Again, a little trouble finding their own note, but got it.
SO OF COURSE, Housekeeping, 'The Head of Housekeeping', rousted me in the morning. She insisted I was to check out, and not only refused to check with the Front Desk, but then ARGUED WITH ME ABOUT IT. I complained to the Front. No big deal for them, barely an apology.

In addition, Housekeeping ignored their 'Do Not Disturb' sign and entered and tidied the room when I did not want it. Obviously ignored it to roust me the next day.

Broken toilet, zero shower soap.
The room lacks another chair or two, rather sad-looking 'suite' area.
No lids for coffee anywhere - it's like a dare, or a high-wire act.

SO, bad policies/training/communication - all Front Desk issues, and aggressive and rude Housekeeping at this hotel. I won't return.

We like it so much, we come back.
Pros:

This is our 3rd year returning to SpringHill Suites Marriott. We usually stay around 2 weeks. The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Our room is always comfortable and very clean with very comfortable beds. I really like the location as it is close to the interstate and very good restaurants.

Overcharged the stay
Pros:

I was charged twice for one night stay. I noticed same and informed front desk and I was told that it was by an error and will not be posted to your account. But same was charged twice.
