My daughter got married last weekend and this was the hotel we used for her wedding block. They provided an excellent rate for all of our guests, and went above and beyond on customer service!!
The hotel rooms were comfortable and several guests mentioned how clean they were. On top of that, they set aside a meeting room for us, and set it up with games and snacks for all the wedding block guests to have a place to relax and spend time together. They also had some special wedding cocktails at the hotel bar, and they were a big hit!
Special shout outs to Michelle and Sara who set up the wedding block for us, and were so welcoming and helpful to our guests!! Manager Robert also personally greeted and helped many of our family members. We cannot say enough good things about the positive experience our family and friends had staying in this hotel for the wedding weekend.
It was clean, very polite employees, easy check in and check out process.
The employees at the front desk are standing all shift. I think they should at least have a stool to sit down and welcome guests in as the hotel is under renovations.
I stay in a lot of hotels around this price range when I travel for work. Hands down, this property has the nicest front of house staff I've ever met, with their main champion being Jade. When someone goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, it should be mentioned. Once upon a time this was the standard in many places that dabble in "hospitality", unfortunately most brands have forgotten the principles of the industry they claim to operate within. Jade reminds us that true hospitality is still possible, with the right people behind it. I will keep coming back as long as she's there!
Great experience. Wonderful and helpful staff. Very clean and welcome atmosphere. Room was impeccable.i didn't notice any noise from any other attendees. It was convenient that they offered a washer and dryer since my family's suitcases and clothes had been soaked.
Very easy and comfortable hotel
The elevator is very slow
The hotel is exactly what we needed, nothing more.
I would have loved somewhere, even a bench, outside to sit on while I had my morning coffee.
We celebrate our 1 year anniversary here in Austin on November 1st. Had a great experience! It was lovely to chat with Jade and Lollie. These ladies were super friendly and welcoming. Happy to enjoy our upgrade and late check out! Might stop by next year :)
I came to this hotel late and wanted to rest and sleep. I was given a room with a very noisy refrigerator to the point I could not hear my friend on the phone when I called them. I specially requested a quiet room, it was on my file and my notes.
The receptionist lady was very disinterested in helping me finding at least 5 different excuses of moving me to a different room. I literally had to wait for somebody else to show up before she could do anything, then I needed to grab my stuff from the room, move it to the front desk, check out of the previous room, check into the new room (I requested a new room 5 minutes into being checked in and into the noisy room) and then move all my stuff again to my new room. I was told the hotel was full despite seeing 12 rooms for sale.
Room was clean over all except carpet and the shower. They were dirty. This hotel is still softening the water to the point that it takes you 4 times as long to take a shower and when you are out your skin is desert dry, excessively so. Plus air-conditioner is either blowing very hard even on low, it gets very cold and when it cycles it gets very hot in the room. The windows do not open. Pillows are soft and flat, no pillow menu.
I was in town for business so one night was bareble but I would not stay at this hotel again.
Great stay, brand new, super clean, cool staff and very good breakfast buffet. Staff went above and beyond to suppor every need that I had. Also used the gym equipment and it was great to relax a bit.
I stayed at this hotel due to an Austin FC game. The hotel is conveniently located to the stadium and the Austin Domain shopping center. The staff were great and the room was clean. Overall, I recommend this hotel.
It was a great stay the only problem was the bed it was horrible. Stayed in room309 it was bad.
