I would like to follow up regarding the refund of my security deposit, as I have not received it yet. Could you please confirm whether it has been processed?

I would also like to share my experience during my stay.

When I arrived at the hotel after a 15-hour flight from Abu Dhabi to Charlotte, I arrived before the standard check-in time. The receptionist informed me that check-in was at 3:00 PM and that I would need to pay an additional $50 for early check-in, or $25 if I provided my email address. Since there were rooms available, I asked why I still needed to pay, and she replied that it was simply the hotel’s procedure. I paid the fee.
She also asked me to pay a security deposit, even though the room did not have a minibar or any items that would normally require one. No explanation was provided The following day, I noticed another receptionist warmly welcoming a guest and offering them two complimentary bottles of water during check-in. Unfortunately, we did not receive the same welcome.

In addition, the air conditioning unit in our room was extremely loud, making it difficult to sleep. The room also overlooked a rooftop, and at night there were two large bright lights shining directly into the window, making the stay even less comfortable.

Overall, this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have had.

Could you please confirm whether my security deposit has been refunded, and if not, when I should expect to receive it?

Decent option close to the airport
Pros:

This Hyatt offers a decent option close to the airport. There's a few restaurants within walking distance or more options within 5 mins drive. There's no pool though.

Hyatt Place- Great Staff and Hotel
Pros:

Airport wide cancellations caused us to scramble for last minute hotel accommodations. Hyatt Place was up to the challenge, accommodated 30 hotel rooms within an hour. Dayshift manager returned after-hours to assist personnel with scheduling next day transfers and hotel assignments. Staff was very pleasant and very professional, especially since we were there at 12:30 at night. After the flight from Jamaica and waiting 8 hours for rescheduled flights, Hyatt Place was very welcoming, providing a peace of mind that we weren't sleep on the airport floor! Thank You. Unpleasant and very quickly disappointed.
Pros:

At first the price and parking, however after getting to the location I was quickly disappointed.

Cons:

The parking was a problem, on top of the fact that I had to pay an additional $12 a day just to park. The staff was stressed and seemed clueless. The rooms were not very clean and the furniture was old, the bed was very uncomfortable. And accessing the rear doors after 10pm was imposible. We had to walk all the way around the building, in the dark, with minimal light, just to regain access. I do not recommend this facility or their partner locations.

Pros:

Hyatt and chase still the best match going. Solid basic accommodations that you can count on for what you get. Within 5 miles to OMB and Sugar Creek Brewing was a nice bonus.

Pros:

I was very disappointed with my stay. The carpet in the hallway and the room was dirty. The pillow cases on the bed had stains on them. When I told the front desk person about the dirty pillow cases, he asked me if I had looked in the closet for clean linen. It was not my place to look for clean linen.
