Good location and nice setting
Single bed was very hard. Staircase to room difficult to navigate and finding the room was not easy. Hotel around here looked very tired and smelled funny. Room very hot as no ac.
Lovely estate and very comfortable rooms. The staff are very helpful and assisted with my very heavy luggage when the lift was down.
The staff were all brilliant.
A request made on booking was fulfilled above and beyond.

I booked primarily for the spa facilities attached to the pool.
I was disappointed to find none of them were working and haven't been for some time when I spoke with regular health club users.
The pool was freezing too which was a but disappointing and I found the bed quite uncomfortable but I appreciate this is down to preference
Air conditioning option or a fridge for the room during the heat would have been perfect
Breakfast was standard. All Staff were excellent and very very helpful.
We came for a spa break to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my wife's Birthday.
To our disappointment,
1. jacuzzi and sauna both were out of order.
2. Water in the swimming pool was too cold
3.steam room was too hot
4. Lift was not working, as it wouldn't take to our floor.
We could have been told before hand so we could book at some other place.

Breakfast was good
Staff made me feel unwanted, not sure if It was because I was in work clothes, found them generally rude, when I arrived in the evening and again when I left in the morning, different staff members.
The staff on this visit were wonderful and made a real effort with my son who has additional needs and it made all the difference to our stay
