Room was clean and tidy with nice grounds
Breakfast was poor
The only nice thing was the location.
Very messy and untidy spaces. Corridors had random mess all over the place, deserted cleaning trolleys left with rubbish just sitting in the middle of the hallway. Booked this hotel because of the Leisure centre facilities, which was an absolute disaster. Everything was shut or broken apart from the swimming pool. But the pool was being used to host what I belie was a children’s swimming club? Very overcrowded and loud, not the vibe we were going for. Everything else felt very outdated and rundown. We even ended up checking out the day of our arrival, which I’ve never done before. Very dissatisfied.

Never come here again room had blood on ceiling mould in room bugs on walls, for was raw never recommended to anyone to come here
The bed was super comfortable and the scenery around was lovely
Lovely place. Location was great, room was good, good value very clean, unfortunately some facilities wasn't working, but we did get our breakfast for free, so that was good
The resources that we got were very good, we enjoyed the gym and steam room and the dinner was good, 😊
Unfortunately the Jacuzzi wasn't working, and the swimming pool water was very cold.

I am giving this hotel a 5 star rating because the staff are wonderful and all the faults of the hotel are washed away when you interact with the staff. They are superb & made me feel welcomed and could not do enough for me. I loved the grounds and the wildlife they look after very well. Squirrels, hares, pheasants & muntjac spotted on the golf course. I absolutely loved that! The gym is very good & state of the art. I got good body results in that gym. The down sides that I will share in photos is the cleanliness. Mattresses are heavily stained as they do not use mattress or pillow protectors. Large stain on the ceiling directly above where you sleep. Broken kettle wire. Overflowing bins. Noise from cars & people outside bedroom window keeps you awake . I witnessed a lorry crashing into a linen trolly outside my window. Filthy toilet brush. With all this it should be 1 star or 2 for the golf course but I have to give it a 5 review because the staff are incredible. I would recommend.
Revolving door, good parking, free golf balls
Hard uncomfortable bed, no aircon, room too hot, room not clean, dark long hairs stuck to the walls in the shower area and in the bed. Pool facilities were dated and out of order. Breakfast was mediocre.

I booked this hotel with the purpose of using the sauna for a weight cut for my fight Saturday however when I arrived sauna and jacuzzi was out of order and had been for a few weeks but nothing on website to state if it did I would of stayed else where also outside the room was lights to a outside seating area that made the room bright all night
I'm not sure I have experienced a more blatant disregard for basic hygiene & cleanliness standards before in a hotel. My room was in what must of been the original old house. You can see from the photos this was ingrained grime and dirt based on systematic failures from management over a long period of time.
I confronted reception staff and showed them the photos and they all agreed it was not acceptable but equally seemed powerless to do anything about it. When I asked to see the Duty Manager they replied they didn't start their shift until midday. To me that speaks volumes!
I was promised a call back regarding the state of the room but I'm still waiting! Its clearly a business that doesn't care.
Its so bad I have instructed my company to remove this hotel from our booking options portal.

My rm was very warm even with the fan on and windows open. Air-conditioning would of been ideal.
