The lodge was nice, right next to the river. The room was spacious and clean. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The lounge had horrible service! We went there to relax and have a couple drinks. The waitress took awhile to get our order. We asked to sit by the firepit but couldn't light it and all we could smell was propane so we moved to a different table. No one would come by to see if we needed anything. My drink was $12 and it was horrible! I couldn't drink it. Our waitress didn't come back to check on us so we decided to go to the room. We went to the bar to see about closing the tab and the bartender wasn't helpful and told us our waitress was on a break so we had to wait for her to return. We went back to our table, but when she finally returned we had to seek her out. The lounge wasn't busy, she just wasn't paying attention. Two drinks was $25 and I left a full one on the table. When we finally got to the room, we decided to relax with tv and none of the stations worked. We tried Netflix, but the movie was constantly interrupted by buffering. We planned on having breakfast before we left but we checked out early and decided we weren't giving the lodge or their restaurant another dime. The experience wasn't worth the price.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it and would definitely go back there if in the area again. The check on staff was very courteous and friendly the room was nice, clean and supplied well.
Lovely big restaurant
Room was great and the river view and water sounds wonderful.
Too busy - unfortunately we stayed at a time when there was a. convention and all rooms were full. Check in was really slow and hectic (not the staff's fault) and we could not get a check-in before 4pm.
Bellissima struttura situata nei pressi di un fiume con un ponte in legno panoramico che attraversa la proprietà. Bello anche il ristorante che alla sera si illumina con le lucine situate sul ponte. Due piscine, una esterna ed una interna.
I had an injury 2 weeks before our stay and I was using a walker and crutches. We were offered an ADA room. Nice and big, plenty of room to move around in
The room, at the end of the hall, was next door to the cleaning supply room. Was pretty noisy at times in the A.M.
And the person above was had elephant feet !
Comfortable beds
Option to have two adult beds and two kid beds
Balcony
Outdoor pool and hot tub was closed our entire stay when that is the reason we booked the property, no offer for compensation when bringing this up upon check out
Charges for parking in addition to room when there is enough parking
Small details like broken bathroom door lock, older carpet, super understaffed coffee shop in the morning
Great location right on the Deschutes river. Always a treat to listen to the water flowing. Good selection of food at the Currents lounge.
Great location and nice rooms
The undisclosed add on fees made what would have been a great experience just a regret.
Nice place, newly remodeled and show it. Rooms were nice and who doesn’t like Central Oregon!
Ps… the bar/lounge/dining is top notch!
Gorgeous river view great staff food very good in restaurant
Ac wanted to quit working over night bad WiFi in room sink was cracked carpet stained not enough lighting in room cocktails at restaurant not great but still good
We upgraded to a room overlooking the river and it was so lovely in the evenings spending time by the fireplace and listening to the water running by.
It was all perfect
We had a River View room; it was amazing. While this is not a new facility, it is kept clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and professional. Housekeeping was also super responsive. Jackie served us at breakfast, and she was wonderful.
The staff, the rooms, the restaurant, the Deschutes river are all excellent. The facilities are great as well. The only thing I would modify is to remove the microwaves that are located on the outside of the buildings into every room.
Riverhouse Lodge was one of the most beautiful properties I have been to in a long history of travel. Our room opened up to the babbling brook just right there! Tall trees huge rocks in the creek made such a nice soothing sound. Despite being right in the middle of the city we felt like we were up in the mountains! The room was very neat and clean with updated modern decor. The beautiful lava rock fire pit was such a great amenity! We bought the s’mores kit and enjoyed making s’mores by the fire before bed! The beds were very comfortable. It was so nice to come into a nice air conditioned room too! Most of the time the rooms are hot and we have to try to cool them down before bed. The restaurant and staff were all top notch!! You should sell your home made potato chips they were amazing!
Very happy with the entire experience as far as the quality of the rooms and accommodations. Either it wasn't obvious or wasn't a thing when I booked the room, but a 19% resort fee when already paying over $300 a night was an unwelcome surprise on the hotel bill.
Wonderful accommodations, great spot, friendly service. I will definitely stay again when I travel to Bend. Another great perk is if you attend a concert at Hayden Amphitheater the hotel offers shuttle to and from the concert venue.
