Was satisfied
Pool wasn't available to use
The room was nice!
The swimming pool was closed—a very big disappointment. And the room was close to the lobby—so very noisy!
Friendliness of the staff, cleanliness of the room, and location
Wish we had the river taxi made available.
Don’t send a confirmation email you can accommodate a request then when l get there don’t do it.
I had three adults have enough towels for 3 adults not two
Location
Expensive without complimentary breakfast
It’s by the river and staff was so helpful
The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The location and the pictures were very deceitful.
Terrible experience- The hotel is just dirty - it needs to be remodeled - there was mold in our bathroom opposite the toilet so it was unavoidable to look at (Room 118). The pillows felt like sleeping on lumpy, cheap $5.00 pillows from Walmart.
We practically begged for a hide away bed (we asked when we checked in around 2pm-3pm and they still had not done it by 7pm and we had to ask several times) and by then the night staff was in and the afternoon staff didn’t explain to the night staff that we would like a rollaway bed and the night crew said we don’t have any at first (not sure why he/she would just flat out lie unless it was from pure laziness) but somehow they found one. Delivered it to the room without the sheets or bedding on it and it looked like it had been peed and pooped on multiple occasions. Just left it with sheets - no comforter, no pillow, they don’t make the bed - just left it in the room. I can make a bed but I wouldn’t have known the mattress was trash if they would have made it up for us. The staff was rude -
We went to a concert at The Pearl and wanted to stay near by. Bar food was good and had drinks. Enjoyed the resident cat. Can you please put some nice blankets to make cat house nice.
Valet promised to have our car ready for us to go to the concert. We tipped him in advance then he left work early. Our car wasn't ready. Valet was packed and new Valet tells us that employee is known for leaving early doesn't provide any detail as to guests requests and splits leaving them a mess to deal with.
Friendly Staff
How far it was from
certain places.
It has been 2 weeks since we checked out of this hotel, leaving our airpods on the nightstand on accident. We called first thing the next morning when it was discovered, and spoke with IHG's customer service. We were able to give them the exact current location of the AirPods, and assumed that either the employee who took them lived there or they had been sold already. We asked that they check their employee records for home addresses, and gave them a description of the male housekeeper that entered our room as we were leaving. Customer Service told us we would get a call back within 48 hours. We did not get a call back, so I re-submitted the complaint via their online system. Three days later I had still not received any response, so I called again. I was told they hotel had not responded and they had another 48 hours to respond. I received no response 48 hours later, so called again. IHG Customer Service told me the hotel would be fined $150 for not responding, and had another 48 hours to contact me. That time has now passed, so I called again. They tried again to contact the hotel, and were able to talk to the front desk who said nothing about our complaint was on their system. The front desk said the general manager had already left for the day (not even 5:00) and they I should call back tomorrow by 9 or 10 to talk to the general manager. I told IHG customer service I was frustrated with having to do all the proactive work to track this down, and asked to speak to a supervisor at IHG. She proceeded to tell me that there was nothing she could do and I had to talk to the manager directly at the hotel. I asked for the hotel manager's name, and she did not know it. I asked how she could not know who the manager was at one of their hotels, and she said they are independently owned and they have no control over them. Just wanted to warn others that staying at a IHG hotel does not mean you will get any help from them if you run into problems, and I definitely would not recommend Hotel Indigo on the Riverwalk.
