One of the most hospitable places
Pros:

I am a frequent traveler and have experienced hotels all across the world. I must say that hospitality at Four Points Balikpapan is among the best. The staff preempted tiniest of our needs and made us feel at home. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. I would definitely recommend Four Points Balikpapan.

Dirty water
Pros:

Water from sink, shower, and toilet is dirty brown as pictured.

Corridor smells bad, and service is just alright.

Unacceptable for a renowned international hotel chain to not even have clean water. Will not stay again.

PROS:
+Their hospitality is above everything! The staff are very helpful and are always ready to assist.
+The bedding set is perfectly comfortable.
+They're so generous about the food and and all of them are deliciously tasty. The coffe tiam was exceptional!
+I have to say this place is such a kids-friendly hotel that makes my children weren't willing to go home.
+Kids activities are available on saturday and sunday.
+BBQ dinner was amazing! (except a lil part of seafood they need to make sure it's always fresh).
+Swimming pool is quite vast.
+Hairdryer and iron+ironing board are available.
+Private parking lot which directly links to the hotel lobby.

CONS:
-Maybe it's time to change the rugs to the newer ones
-House keeping staff need to double check about the cleanliness of the rug. I found much dust were still clinging to it especially at the corner of the room.

Pros:

Where to start? EVERYTHING IS FANTASTIC from the staff to the service.. breakfast was excellent, the receptionist who recommended me the breakfast didn't disappoint me at all.. the rooms are the most comfy rooms that I ever stayed at.. all and all I had a wonderful stay even it's just one night.. I will come back in the near future..

Good place for Staycation with your Fams
Pros:

Out of the many hotels I’ve tried in Balikpapan for a family staycation, this one truly stands out in terms of value for money. While the price may look slightly higher compared to others on some platforms, I was lucky to get a city-view room for under 1 million rupiah—and it was absolutely worth it.

The room was spacious and comfortable, perfect for staying with children. Breakfast was quite complete with plenty of options, and one of our favorite experiences was the BBQ dinner, which added a nice touch to our stay. The swimming pool was wide and enjoyable, especially for families—though adding a few more lounge chairs would make it even better.

The bathroom itself was roomy, although the door design slightly limited movement when opening and closing it. That aside, our overall experience was very satisfying. From the facilities to the comfort, everything felt well worth the price, and we truly enjoyed our stay here.

Awesome trip
Pros:

Great location. Superb hotel, clean, great and awesome staff from top to bottom, from door man, receptionist, engineering, chef and managers.

Atmosphere so cozy when you enter the lobby

Rooms were always clean. Cold aircond. (Awesone when you stay in tropic region). The room noise level so quite. Amenities are OK.

Value wise ok. Not too high up. You pay what you get.

Just arrived at Four Points by Sheraton Balikpapan and feeling warmly welcomed by the outstanding hospitality! Even with a crowded lobby, the lady in red, the lobby ambassador, had everything ready, so check-in was seamless. I was surprised with a lovely upgrade to a Deluxe Premium room, along with a heartfelt welcome letter, towel art, and a fresh fruit platter from the hotel manager. Truly grateful for this thoughtful and impeccable service!

Good but need to improve.
Pros:

breakfast is good but front desk and TV service is not good paid already foextension to 16 hours check out but after back from out site my room key do not work and TV is off.
