My first night the lady was short and rude with me. But the next day completely different attitude. Everyone has an off day no hard feelings.

The location was good. The hotel was quiet, clean, and perfect for what we needed.
I didn't have time to eat the breakfast, so I can't comment good or bad.
There was construction issues, and although there is not much you can do about that, you can give your guests a heads up.
Once I got there, there wasn't a parking space available. There were a couple of trucks pulling trailers that took up several parking spots. When I got in the hotel, I expressed my concerns and the lady helping me, was very scattered, and didn't seem to care about my concerns. Because of the construction, my gps was not accurately updating, so I spent an extra 40 minutes in traffic and I was only 3 miles away from the hotel. When I told her that, she said yeah, you'll have to excuse me, I'm so tired! What?!!! You're tired???? After all of that, I go up to my room and my key card didn't work. Turns out the battery was dead and maintenance wouldn't be available until the next morning, but in the meantime, I could just turn the lock which would keep the door propped open if I needed to leave the room so I wouldn't get locked out. I asked for a different room, she put me in a double, which was fine because I was by myself, but my reservation was for a king. When we got to the new room the air had been turned off and it was 86 degrees in the room. It did cool off pretty quick, but it was just a lot to deal with at midnight.
We loved the cleanliness and convenience of the Avid rooms. For quick stays, these rooms are no fuss. There is no closet but lots of hooks on the walls and in convenient places. Very forward thinking. Staff was extra nice too. As we continue our travels we will look for Avids along the way.
