Staff was great. Kind and responsive. Comfy and cheap accommodations.

This was my second stay here and it did not improve. I tried to use the remote to turn on the TV, but couldn’t get it to turn on. I looked for buttons to manually turn the TV on, but couldn’t find them.

When I showered there was only one towel and one hand towel. I didn’t have a towel to put down on the floor so that when I stepped out of the shower I would prevent the floor from being wet all night.

It had snow 10” inches the previous days, but the parking lot had not been plowed. Leaving patrons to walk on snow and ice, carrying suitcases, into their room.

It also would have been nice to have a few disposable cups to use as needed. But they simply don’t have them available for patrons.

Bed was comfortable and they did provide several pillows so you could sleep. Staff was nice and the room was clean

The good reviews and most of the pictures are FAKE. There is no way this motel could ever get a good review.

The room was filthy, the floor tiles were coming up and detached from the floor, we had to wear our shoes in the room due to the floor being unclean and sticky. We did not feel safe, there were questionable druggy and homeless type people hanging around the hotel. I looked at three different rooms before finding one that we could tolerate, not like but tolerate. The first two rooms were not clean and had filthy bedspreads.

I asked for a refund before checking in but the hotel clerk just showed us another room. When I asked for the refund, the motel clerk acted like she could not speak English and was very rude.

After looking at the first two rooms I was extremely embarrassed to have to tell my wife that I had booked us into this dump.

To call the McAlester hotel a dump would be giving it a huge compliment. It was filthy and unsafe. We could not wait to get out of there the next morning.

We will NEVER stay at another OYO hotel again. I have made it a point to tell all of our friends, family, and co-workers to stay away from OYO hotels.

The McAlester OYO hotel had a definite "Third World " feel. All we wanted was a clean safe place to spend the night. Staying at the McAlester, OK OYO hotel was a horrific experience for my wife and I. This hotel stay was extremely bad.

It was a decent room for the price.

They ran one of my cards and said it didn’t go through so I gave them another one they ran it later that day I noticed I got charged and went back and showed them they would not refund me and got rude about it stay away

Simple, clean room. Friendly staff.

They still ole me a night the lady cool tho she said she got me wen I come back….
They also accommodate you very well. They got a soda machine vending machine and if you go up to her, ask her anything she will answer your questions and give you what you need.

Rough start but was ALL fixed.

Reserved with expedia. Lady at front desk argue that i under paid for room even tho i showed proof of full payment thru phone expedia app.
I was made to feel like i was stealing from them. I gave her the 6 dollars in cash just to get the key to get some sleep. The motel is located right across the rd from train track with a crossing close to motel so expect to be awaking by a train horn several times thru the night. Would not recommend this hotel.

There was some trouble with placement, I'd reserved a King bed & they tried to put me in a 2 double-bed room, aside from that, the only problem was getting a working key-card, as their machine was acting flaky.

Other then that, it was a nice pleasant night

The hotel was clean and comfortable although it did seem dated. It had clean carpet and bathroom. We were only there one night. The staff was friendly and check in went fine. The breakfast was a regular Hampton breakfast. Would stay again if passing through.

Quiet restful nights stay with friendly reception. The updated room was worth the price.
