We stayer two times in two weeks. The first stay was excellent. The second stay we were put in an accessible rom. I am tall and with everything located below 4' and me with a back problem it was not convenient. The bathroom door opened out to meet code requirements. It was very hard to get the latch to catch on the door without a lot of strength. My grandkids had a hard time closing it. I think it took more than the 2# requirement in the ADA law. I didn't complain at the desk as I was coming down with larengitis and trying not to talk unless I had to. So, we put up with the inconvencies of the the room. Since I am a senior citizen, they probably thought they were doing me a favor by putting us in this room.

Also, the cost of a room at this hotel was double what we paid in all the other cities we stayed at in Texas during our 2 week visit.
I enjoyed that the rooms were actually pretty clean compared to most hotel rooms. Wi-Fi was easy to connect to no issues there. And staff was friendly.
The parking lot was super full. I do think that they needed more parking spaces, especially since it is the only hotel but it was graduation weekend so I will give them that.
Breakfast was hot and well prepared. Eggs, bacon, sausage toast cereal, muffins, waffles. Great variety.
I would have graded the place a 10 which everything was great but only one important thing— the TV didn’t work at all I called the front desk and NO answer tried a couple of times and things. But was the only thing wrong
No working TV
They didn't clean my room until I asked them to do so
Staff was friendly and quick with check in and check out.
Was only in town for one day all was well.
It’s close location to the home of my LaVernia family members.
The lack of regular coffee, not decaf, for the room. Only one the first day then none the next. The hotel coffee maker ran out of coffee—meaning it was slightly dark water—it took 30 minutes to correct. breakfast was now past tense.
The location was good probably because it was the only hotel in Lavernia, but it had a lot of things around the hotel that was convenient.
We didn’t like the gentleman that was at the desk when we checked in late Friday night. There was a mixup on our Booking.com and he was not very accommodating or professional on how we handled the situation. I will say that the manager was very helpful the next day solve the problem in less than five minutes and all was good.
Called ahead for an early check in at 2. Told that my room was ready. When I got there my room was not ready.
All the chips in the snack area are expired. Like beginning of August expired.
A maid or someone stole 200 out of my little extra wallet I left in the drawer with my make up while I was out it had Roaches in the blanket and previous persons trash was under the bed
Nice and clean location
