I booked this hotel because it was advertised as being close to the Basilica of Guadalupe, but it’s definitely not a 20-minute walk. it took me at least 30 minutes. On the plus side, there’s a Walmart, a Chili’s, and plenty of food options nearby.
However, the experience inside the hotel was disappointing. The hallway to my room was dark, which didn’t feel safe, especially since I was traveling alone. I usually leave the TV on when I sleep, and I KNOW I fell asleep to Harry Potter. I was shocked to wake up around 2 or 3 AM to explicit adult content playing on the TV, completely inappropriate and unsettling.
The condition of the room wasn’t great either. The floor was missing some wood, and the bathroom door was chipped. When I first checked in, the woman at the front desk saw me walk in but walked away as if she hadn’t. I know she saw me because I caught her moving. Later that evening, I said “good night” to another staff member and didn’t even get a response.
I only stayed here to sleep, and thankfully it was just for two nights. I would not recommend this place to friends or family. I even looked for nearby hotels I could suggest instead, but the ones I saw didn’t have visible names — just signs that said “Hotel,” which didn’t help.

Property was conveniently located near a very large shopping mall as well as restaurants. Room was clean but there were some maintenance issues with regard the floor peeling and swollen wood around the bathroom doors. The shower was fantastic. Asked for extra pillow but was refused. They didn't make up the room after the first night. The hospitality desk was boxed in like a bank teller and Steve wasn't particularly friendly. Not absolutely sure but part of the Hotel might've been a "no tell motel".
