Wonderful spot. Beautiful views. Rooftop pool is outstanding.

Best stay for this ladies birthday trip
Pros:

The staff are amazing! For being a boutique hotel you get a lot of extras for your stay. Free chairs and umbrellas to use, a beach bag to carry your stuff and the beach is just across the street.
Everytime we came back we had a welcome home from the front desk. Location is only a couple blocks from the Malecon so super convenient.
The pool and area with bar was superb, and the breakfast was delicious.
Housekeeping were so thorough and had no problem working around us when we hadnt left yet for the day.
Beds were comfortable and the Suite we stayed in was so big and just what these four ladies needed on this birthday trip.
Ive stayed many times in PV, and will definitely come back to this property.

Cons:

Only negatie was the slow elevator with no airflow or fan, but we managed.

Beautiful, boutique hotel, right across from the beach and on a quiet street.
Pros:

We loved the room, the location, the breakfast and the pool. We could see the sunset from our balcony.
50% of the staff were amazingly friendly. The other 50% seemed a bit stressed.
So clean.
We loved that it was within walking distance to the beach (across the street) and bars and restaurants.

Cons:

The chairs they give you for the beach are uncomfortable so we had to rent comfortable chairs.
Some of the staff could be more friendly. It was basically 50/50.
I felt pressured to book tours with the front desk.

Little gem that's walking distance from the Malecon
Pros:

I've stayed in Puerto Vallarta many times but this was my first stay at the Paramar. I went in expecting an average hotel for the price but my friend an I were happily surprised. The room was enormous, the bed was comfortable, our terrace looked out over the beach, the AC was strong (when we needed it) and the staff were friendly and helpful. The included breakfast offered lots of choices and was delicious. The pool was warm (how I like it) and most of the time not crowded so comfy seats were easy to come by on our stay.

Cons:

The only thing we weren't bowled over by was the coffee, which was a little weak and tasteless. But the breakfast food itself was good.

Excellent All Around!
Pros:

We loved the cleanliness, the staff, the way they have it all laid out. Breakfast in the courtyard, the souvenir store as part of the lobby and also acting as decor, the rooftop bar and spa, and almost a swim up bar with delicious food… it was clean, offered endless clean water, the staff were great!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely stay here again.
Pros:

The staff were very attentive and considerate. We were particularly happy that they provided beach chairs and umbrellas at no extra cost. The breakfast area was pleasant and the breakfast was very good! The pool area and bar on the roof was a lovely area to relax and have a drink with an amazing view of the bay.

Cons:

Occasionally the elevator was not working but it was only an issue when we had to move luggage. Otherwise we had no problem taking the stairs. I cannot think of anything else that we did not like.

Fabulous everything at this small boutique hotel with rooftop pool and views.
Pros:

The staff at this hotel are EXCEPTIONAL, always so friendly, happy and helpful. They do their best to accommodate everything you need. The location is superb right at the start of the south end of downtown Puerto Vallarta opposite the beach, El Barracuda beach bar. I have stayed here many times and it is my favourite place to stay in PV. The rooftop pool, yoga platform and patio bar are lovely with amazing views over the Bay of Banderas and the city.
