Location was exceptional, couldn’t have been any better
The only disappointing aspect was a constant humming noise, which I failed to identify, and resulted in a rather disturbed sleep on both nights
we enjoyed our stay checkin was seamless the room was well appointed and good size the parking also worked out fine as well, although it was a little noisy but not to be helped as location is in the middle of the square.
we struggled with the windows as they are encased and didn't stay open easily which is fine only problem it was really hot, we kept the curtains closed the second day and that helped no issue though and didn't deflect from a nice pleasant stay thank you.

The whole procedure has been well thought out from getting into the hotel to what was provided in the room, yea, coffee and water. The room was basic but clean and even a continental breakfast left outside of your bedroom door in the morning.

Ventilation in the room was not good, though the fan is equipped. The room was hot when I returned to the room at the evening everyday.

There was a musty smell when you first go in the hall perhaps the stair carpet has been damp at some point. But once you got past that it was all good.

Didn’t feel secure and is more like a bunk house than a hotel - no reception desk and front door left open, I locked my belongings in the car when I went out. Bathroom was grotty. Hand marks on walls and dirty finger prints all over door. Was extremely noisy not just with clubs and pubs and screaming and shouting - this from a top floor room until 3am. Our other room wasn’t street facing but was claustrophobic and didn’t feel very safe if a fire - no fire escape. The bistro opposite they’re attached to started dragging tables and chairs out at 6am. When approached about the issues the staff didn’t care and lacked responsibility as I didn’t book direct but through Booking.com pretty grim experience all round if I’m honest.
Location excellent right in centre of Lytham near all restaurants etc.
Rooms were very clean and spacious with lovely bathrooms.
