Mode is a great hotel, in a great position,.
Pros:

This is the best room in a hotel I have had for a very long time. It had so many extras that other hotels definitely did not have.It had a place to put your suitcase. It had a real coffee pod machine, Glasses and mugs, bath robes. And a great deal of space ..And a high quality vending machine on the landing. The hotel was right in the middle of Lytham. Five minutes from the sea, and 10 minutes from the Lowther Pavilion.

Cons:

We couldn’t make the heating work properly . There were no rooms on the ground floor. But my wife did manage the stairs with difficulty.

Poor sleep, Poor value, poor service. Much better elsewhere

Location was both good and bad because of noise.

Cons:

Very noisy at night cost us our sleep on both nights until 2-3am. Walls are also thin so you can hear adjacent rooms talking and walking etc. Only one towel for two people over two nights when the booking was clear. The room was cold and heating hadn’t been put on and had to have a call out to fix. No breakfast provided on both days despite the booking clearly saying it was included.

A lovely clean hotel in the heart of Lytham.
Pros:

Location, prime spot! It had everything in the room you would expect. The cosy room was great, I might upgrade next time.

Cons:

The far bedside lamp wasn’t working, may need the bulb to be changed. More coffee sachets, only one when we arrived.
