A truly unforgettable experience to end our South Africa trip
Pros:

Im not quite sure where to start, how to even sum up our stay at Moya without going completely over the top.

It is one of the most welcoming locations we have ever been fortunate to stay at, at no point did we feel like guests, it was like being with very close family.

Gary, Constance and the girls were exceptional, with every little detail that contributed to our time at Moya was attended to.

We were so sorry to have to leave, we even considered moving / changing flights to stay longer.

This is far more than a lodge / Hotel / stopover - it's an experience, one that we will never forget and strive to repeat.

Thank you so much for allowing us to be a small part of your Moya story - until we meet again, our hearts remain in South Africa.

Kleinschalige, mooie accommodatie in een fijn wildlife estate met fantastisch diner.
Pros:

Erg mooie ligging op de Hoedspruit Wildlife estate, waar je wel zou kunnen wandelen/fietsen, maar toch mooi in de natuur waar je ook ‘wildlife’ tegen kan komen. Zeer mooie kamers, mogelijk komen deze niet goed genoeg tot hun recht op de foto’s! Het zwembad is heerlijk en er is een uitkijktoren! Het ontbijt was relatief simpel, maar wel goed (altijd iets van een yoghurt, fruit, zoet hapje en daarnaast een kok die iets van een ei-gerecht met bijlagen kon maken). Het avondeten was echt fantastisch. Het voelt bijna als een privé kok doordat er in een open keuken ter plekke gekookt wordt. De chef is zeer netjes/hygiënisch en het eten is echt waanzinnig goed, bijna zonde dat ze alleen voor de gasten van de lodge kookt. Het personeel is verder ook echt zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Er kunnen activiteiten voor je worden georganiseerd door de lodge host.

Cons:

Het is een vrij kleinschalige accommodatie (wat ook juist charme heeft) maar doordat het ook erg rustig was met andere gasten voelde het soms wat verlaten/saai aan.

Wij hadden geen eigen auto en vervoerskosten naar activiteiten toe waren erg prijzig, dit had ook iets beter aangegeven kunnen worden.

Once Shirley arrived, we had the best stay. Her hospitality was outstanding.
Pros:

The breakfast was delicious, and Shirley was the best host!

Cons:

Better and bigger bathroom towels and we were not offered any drinks on arrival.

Locatie in het park is goed. Mooie kamer met buitendouche. En schoon ook. Foto's van de site komen goed overeen.

Cons:

Diner is veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. Ook wel 3x zo duur als je net buiten het park eet. (5min rijden)
Manager was wel heel erg lui en zag er in zijn trainings broek en crocs ook niet uit tijdens het serveren van het dine. Rest van het personeel deed wel goed hen best.

We had an amazing stay
Pros:

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. It’s a beautiful safari lodge set in the bush, perfect for a peaceful escape from the city. From arrival, we were warmly welcomed with refreshing towels and iced tea, which was much appreciated on a very hot day. The host and all staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
The rooms were clean, spacious, very comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure. Any queries were handled quickly. When we had an issue with hot water, it was resolved immediately. The food was exceptional. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, fresh and well-prepared. The chef was very accommodating with dietary requirements and went out of his way to offer alternatives, which we truly appreciated. Overall, we felt well taken care of and had a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

Cons:

It would be great if the lodge could offer more on-site or nearby entertainment/activities so guests don’t need to travel far for entertainment.

Very underwhelming for the price!!!

I can't think of anything that stood out for me

Cons:

Firstly the room i booked was an executive room, when I arrive it's a standard room not even a deluxe room, that was the first disappointment. I had to pay extra to upgrade the room as the other didn't have privacy. The game drive was very expensive only for us to see impalas and 1 elephant?? What a joke!!! The breakfast took forever to come, the dinner service doesn't make sense, it was just overall highly underwhelming.
