No tiene restaurante. El clima es muy pequeño para la habitación. La taza del baño es muy incómoda. La luz entra excesivamente por el ventanal. No tiene cobertores. No hay botellas de agua en la habitación. El agua de la alberca está fría.
No hay nadie en recepción cuando llegas. No funciona su punto de venta. Las fotos de la publicación no cotejan con la apariencia del hotel.

We had an incredibly stressful and frustrating experience at José y Glendy Hotel in Mérida, and we ultimately chose not to stay here due to how uncomfortable and unsafe the situation made us feel.
Upon arrival, the hotel claimed their card processing system was down and demanded that we pay the entire balance in cash. We only travel with credit cards for safety and rewards, which is exactly why we booked through a trusted platform. When we explained this, the hotel staff refused to accommodate us.
Worse yet, the hotel representative refused to cancel our reservation on their end. Instead, they kept pressuring and urging us to cancel it on our app. Doing this would have triggered a massive last-minute cancellation fee, forcing us to pay for a room we couldn't even check into. It felt incredibly predatory and dishonest.

The only saving grace of this entire ordeal was the customer service we received from Booking.com. We were connected with a representative named Maria, and she was absolute gold.
* She immediately stepped in to advocate for us.
* She recognized that the issue was entirely on the hotel's side due to their broken payment processing.
* She successfully cancelled our stay without any cancellation fees, protecting us from the hotel's unfair demands.
Maria turned a travel nightmare into a manageable situation and handled it with total professionalism and efficiency.
Final Verdict: Do not book José y Glendy Hotel unless you want to be pressured into shady cash-only demands and tricky cancellation traps. If you do find yourself in a bind, pray you get an agent as amazing as Maria to bail you out!

La experiencia fue muy mala. La habitación no corresponde a las fotos publicadas, el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, el cuarto estaba sucio y con demasiada humedad. Además, el trato del personal de recepción fue pésimo. Definitivamente no volvería ni lo recomendaría.
