Dirty, Disappointing, Unacceptable
Pros:

The night before our departure, in what was supposed to be a “luxury room,” turned out to be one of the worst hotel stays we’ve experienced in terms of cleanliness.

The shower floor was sticky, and the drain clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned in quite some time. We solved that issue by wearing flip-flops - problem managed, but hardly acceptable. Dirty, sticky remote controls aren’t unheard of, but in this case they had built up a visible layer of grime.

The kitchenette was equipped with cutlery that had clearly been used by a previous guest — and in any case, there was only one knife, one spoon, and two forks provided for two people.

The bed was supposedly freshly made, but the four small pillows told a different story: they smelled distinctly of “human” and felt greasy. There were hairs on the sheet that definitely did not all come from someone’s head.

When we asked for the bed to be changed, a housekeeping staff member eventually came and initially told us she had no additional bedding available to replace even the sheets and pillows. Somehow, she managed to provide a fresh sheet and change at least three of the four pillows. Still, this did not leave us with any sense of sleeping in a clean bed.

As a result, the night felt very long - also because the room (number 205) could not be properly darkened and only had thin curtains.

In short: we will avoid this hotel in the future and cannot recommend it. There are much better options in Windhoek.

Pros:

Very big room, nice resteraunt next to the hotel.

Cons:

We added a day to our stay. we requested beforehand to stay in the same room and although it was approved, the receptionist said it is not possible, causing great inconvinence for us. Then suddenly it was arranged (they had a cancellation).

Beautiful
Pros:

It was beautiful, clean and spacious. Marvin from reception was an absolute joy, very helpful and kind! Made us feel welcome.

Cons:

Nothing, I just wished they stored a small box of milk, even on the snacks fridge for purchase
