The bad smell in the shower
The staff were friendly and my room was huge. Didn't use all the facilities but would've liked to have stayed longer.

Our first stay at the hotel was ok (see the review). However, during our second stay, some very bad things happened.
The person at the reception, Mr. Marvin, was very unpleasant. He arrogantly asked multiple times the confirmation number of booking.com without even checking our passport.
Afterwards, we asked him to call a taxi. He explained that he could help, and that the taxi would have cost 30 NAD (15 NAD/PAX, total 30).
The taxi was not a taxi but a private driver from a transfer company, who ultimately charged us 100 NAD. It has to be noted that the receptionist clearly misled us - fifTEEN is of course not FIFTY, but he clearly said TOTAL THIRTY.
When back, Mr. Marvin very arrogantly denied any inappropriate conduct and put the blame on us.
The property was informed on the mishap the next day and offered sincere apologies. But it's of course not enough.

The room was very big and spacious. Everything was very clean and tidy. The staff was extremely helpful and kind. The area is quiet and calm so we slept well. Very nice hotel, grey value for money, fully recommended!
De tv op onze kamer was kapot. We mochten hierdoor gratis tv kijken op een andere kamer, super service!

There was nothing to like, as we stayed for 5 mins and left.
To explain, we had two bookings: one for the beginning of our vacation, which we had to cancel due to our flight being canceled so we could not reach Windhoek the initialy planned date, and one at the end of our vacation. At the end of our vacation we reached the accommodation and, after doing the check-in, i go to the room with the first round of luggage while my husband was at the car bringing the 2nd round. When I got to the room, I went to the bathroom to wash my face and I noticed the shower being wet which seemed odd, as it was already after 6:00 pm and the cleaning is done much earlier, so the shower should have been dried. Then i notice toilet paper coming out of the dust bin, which again, that shouldn't happen in a clean room. When i push the lid out, there it was ... a condom!!. The room ( at least our shower) had just been used....
You get the rest ...we walked out, asked for our money back and booked somewhere else.
But!!! The man receptionist needs to understand what a good hospitality attitude means. He did apologize, but the way he did that was, again, unprofessional saying he called the housekeeping and they said they have missed taking out the trash.
That is a big No! He should have first acknowledged the disturbance and the inconvenience this meant to us, after a 6 h drive to have to stay in front of the accommodation trying to find another place to book, as it was already getting dark...
Sorry they can reply whatever they want. But I would Not recommend this accommodation.
And you, Sir receptionist, soothe your voice when receiving guests. You talking down to people does not create a nice impression not should you have the right to do that. Remember: respect goes a long way!
