Slechte luchtventilatie, heerlijke faciliteiten

De ruimte en de indeling met een keukenruimte, mooi uitzicht en faciliteiten

Cons:

De beluchting. Met de ramen dicht is er geen vanzelfsprekende ventilatie. Vooral het gevoel van weinig zuurstof in de lucht. Enige beluchting in de hitte is dus airco aandoen. Of ramen open doen en de hitte accepteren.
Airco was niet heel krachtig.
En wat mij ook tegenviel was dat er bij mij aangebeld werd voor pestcontrol waarbij zij een 'goedje' wilde sprayen in mijn kamer terwijl de ventilatie er al zo slecht was.
Lijkt mij niet helemaal gezond..

Great accomodation, centrally located, a number of food options nearby
Pros:

- Spacious rooms
- Great facilities at the hotel (gym, pool, etc.)
- Helpful and professional staff - accommodated early checkin
- Close to Whampoa ‘Makan centre’ (food market/hawker centre) - plus many other food options nearby (including a large 24hr grocery store (Fairprice).
- Centrally located
- Late checkin was with a self serve machine - which was interesting - but relatively easy to do and surprisingly efficient.
- 24hr mini mart (U-Mart) downstairs in the building - good for sims cards, cold drinks and other small essentials
- Tip: Request room with views facing the gardens, rather than the main road room views.

Cons:

No MRTs super close to the property (bus stops right in front of the property though)…about 20 mins brisk walk to the closest MRT (Boon Keng, purple line).

Pros:

Nice and practical hotel, but the staff are not very attentive. One day our room was not cleaned, and requested towels were not delivered. On another night we were told towel service was already closed. Staff seemed uninterested, except for the helpful lady at the reception.

Not bad overall but some rooms for improvement.
Pros:

Location is not close to any MRT station but right across the street there is a bus stop. Reasonable rates and nice size rooms for Singapore. We were on a high floor so had a open unobstructed view which was a bonus.

Cons:

The studios don't come with a washer while the other rooms do. I don't understand why it was so difficult to add one to the studio as well. There is plenty of room for that and it would have made it a much more attractive room even with a higher rate. Housekeeping only came once in our 3 days of stay and late in the afternoon - not really convenient for guests.

Comfortable, well maintained hotel.
Pros:

We liked the hotel ver much. Booked two apartments having a common entrance, both very comfortable and spacious. Everything was spotless and ready to use.

I liked the location. There is Balestier Market 10 minutes from the hotel, where one can get very good meals, including duck, laksa, hainan chicken etc. Also, there is a bus stop right in front of the hotel connecting with all main attractions. It is always better to travel by bus as one can see the city. It takes just 20 - 30 minutes by bus to the city centre.

Breakfast was not worth the price. It is better to eat outside or buy some stuff at the nearby shop.

Cons:

No complaints whatsoever. Everything was perfect. Just one warning - the reception is on the sixth floor which is not very intuitive. It took us a while to realize that there is no one at the ground floor to speak to us.
