Room was good , clean , spacious, with a great view. Good breakfast but dinner was disappointing. Average food , somewhat overpriced. Staff friendly and location excellent . Would stay there again but look to eat somewhere else in the evening.
It was lovely. we stayed in the Braid Lodge. It was clean, well decorated and warm. The only criticism would be the state of the TV remote control which was filthy.

We had a bit of a disasterous stay. We couldn’t close the French windows as the frames were swollen and didn’t fit. When we got back from our meal and walk the room had quite a few flying insects on the wall and this number just increased and increased. We called facilities who came and said we needed to be moved to a different hotel. They offered to take us there if we’d had a drink, but we were fine so moved to a hotel in aldburgh.
