Seemed short on staff.
Room upkeep needs attention and TV usage was not easy

spacious property but looks very old !
the basic rooms are very sad ! we were upgraded to a higher category, so it was all good. Food is a little challenge! taste not upto the mark as a premium hotel !
breakfast was just okay, nothing great about it ! Dinner buffet was also just ok!! not that great!! no refreshments / fruits kept in room !!

Excellent resort. Very eco friendly. I do recommend full glass cover for the showers instead of partial covers.

WiFi was low, no hair dryer, needs more sitting areas in the garden.

Nice property, very peaceful and good old fashioned Kerala architecture unlike other resorts.

Overall, the stay was satisfactory and provided good value for the price. However, the bathroom drain was clogged, and despite reporting the issue, it was not resolved during the stay.

Les points positifs:
Les extérieurs de l’hôtel sont très beaux et bien entretenus.
La vue sur le lac est magnifique.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et la literie est confortable.
Le personnel du restaurant est accueillant

Les points négatifs:
Excepté le restaurant, le reste du personnel ne dit pas souvent bonjour.
Les salle de bains mériteraient un bon rafraîchissements (beaucoup d’éléments usées)
Les chambres au 1er étage avec vue sur le canal sont trop sombres et ne mérite pas de payer un supplément pour la vue.
Beaucoup de plats sur la carte du restaurant étaient indisponibles.
L’espace piscine est correct mais il y avait trop de monde lors de mon séjour par rapport à la taille du bassin.
Dans l’ensemble, comme un soufflé, l’effet wouah à mon arrivée à l’hôtel est très vite retombé.

My family and I had a very good time at this place.
Pros:
1.Rooms were super clean.
2.We had couple of items requested to our room and they were fulfilled very quickly.
3.Food was delicious and served with courtesy.
4.Location was amazing. Breeze from backwater itself can make your day awesome!!
5.Enjoyed complementary boat ride.

Cons:
1. Overall property maintenance could be better. observed a lot of dust and dirt on exterior decoratives.
2.There was a list provided that explains activities and Ayurvedic treatments we could choose for an extra cost. Nobody cared to explain this in details.
3.I dnt see staffs that friendly especially greeting the guest during their stay(exception for the restaurant team, they were super nice and helpful).
4.Gym and indoor game rooms are not that great.
5.Complementary bicycle ride was a joke. You should give some decent area for guest to ride the bikes.

I wish they had a tender coconut stand opened during day time. Overall,I would recommend this property to others who are looking to relax and rejuvenate.

Though the property is dated and worn round the edges, it is a nice relexed place with jolly and helpful staff at the front desk.

it was good .. a good refresher .. Room service did a remarkable job for setting the room for my parents wedding anniversary.
Food options for dinner are not great. Breakfast is decent.
The complimentary boat ride was a good experience.

It was a good change. The hotel did an exceptional effort in decorating my parents room for their 44th wedding anniversary.
The gym is decent and well equipped.
The place is well maintained well and staff are friendly. The evening 1 hr boat ride was refreshing as well.

That being said, below are few things that can be improved
1. The hot water in the washroom. It was just lukewarm
2. The room telephone had connection issues
3. TT table and carrom board were dismantled away for a meeting the day I checked-in and placed back the next day. I got to play for a bit but not as much as I had hoped.
4. Dinner buffet needs a HUGE makeover. It is definitely not worth the price as there was nothing exquisite and fancy about it. Barely 3 options in veg and non-veg.

Beautiful view of the waterway and sunset. Very comfortable bed. Eco friendly hotel but did have power outages. Rooms have view of a connecting waterway covered in plants. Lots of butterflies in the grounds. Very peaceful and can be romantic.

Breakfast spread and variety was great, the staff-front desk and room service folks are all very courteous, the premises is well maintained and very picturesque. They even upgraded us to private cottage with sitout- which was rather nice. They also provide complimentary boat rides every evening that takes you around the Vembanad lake...so overall it was a very pleasant experience.
