Es muy difícil dormir con una insonorización así. No se puede dar alojamiento y no ofrecer desayunos o alguna alternativ
Pros:

La ubicación es magnífica y de la habitación destacaría los amenities, la decoración y la limpieza.

Cons:

Son demasiadas cosas, algunas subjetivas y otras constables para cualquiera.
La almohada es un ladrillo, tal cual. Es como dormir sobre una montaña alta y dura.
La cama de “matrimonio” es pequeña.
Y lo peor, sin duda es la insonorización de la habitación. Se hace difícil dormir si los vecinos hablan en la habitación de al lado, o tienen puesta la televisión. Lo peor es cada vez que encendían la luz del baño; el extractor se escuchaba como si estuviera al lado nuestro, en la cama.
Y para rematar la faena (aunque esto ya lo sabíamos cuando hicimos la reserva) no dan desayunos, y a ciencia cierta de que es un grave problema, porque en todo Hartington no hay una tienda o negocio donde tomar algo hasta las 9 de la mañana, de manera que si estás de paso en alguna ruta, no vas a poder continuar esa ruta, al menos hasta más allá de las 9.
Lo del horario de cocina del Pub es un punto negativo más. Llegamos a las 15:20 y nos dijeron que ya no daban de comer. Conocemos la zona perfectamente (estuvimos viviendo cerca un año, y regresamos todos los veranos) y somos conscientes de lo difícil que es encontrar personal y de los horarios “ingleses”, pero no se puede ser tan inflexible. Máxime cuando tienes un lugar donde a parte de comida alquilas habitaciones y donde no dejas entrar en esas habitaciones hasta las 3. Menos mal que al otro lado de la plaza, si nos atendieron; y aunque la cocina la acababan de cerrar, tuvieron a bien prepararnos algo.

Pros:

Beautiful stay in the idyllic villigage of Hartington, lovely location, great area. If you love walking this is one for you. We stayed at the Devonshire Arms. Great place to stay, staff were very accommodating, the room was clean and had everything you needed for your overnight stay. Deffinatly worth the money.

I know it is an old property, but some a dangerous step in the building - it contained one victim whilst we were there!

Superb room with absolutely everything you needed. Fridge, kettle, tea,coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits. Lots of toiletries, Ironing board, Iron, TV.
Very well equipped bathroom. Great Real ales and other beers. Real fire. Superb food at a very reasonable price. Best pub I have ever stayed in.

Great comfy room and good food.
Pros:

Lovely room lots of space very comfortable.
Good coffee facilities but ran out of coffee pods all milk ones in pot.

Cons:

The only thing I can think of was that the hanging draw space and for clothes was very limited. We just lived out of our suitcase as only there for two days.

Heerlijke Inn op prachtige locatie. Wij zouden er zo weer boeken.
Pros:

De Devonshire Arms is een prachtige Inn op een geweldige locatie. Het is een soort basis kamp voor mensen die willen wandelen, fietsen of op een andere manier dit prachtige natuurgebied willen bezoeken. De eigenaren zijn enorm vriendelijk. Hondjes zijn zeer welkom en je kunt er heerlijk eten.

Pros:

Traditional pub with rooms. Staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Cons:

Bar closed at 7pm shortly before we arrived and doesn’t serve breakfast. Few if any other options in the village.

Beautiful room with everything we needed and very comfy bed..Location is fantastic for walking
