Mirbeau Inn & Spa

Everything was just awesome! From the two gals at the front desk to Dianne, who gave us a tour and helped us along the way. This was our first time visiting, and we will definitely be back!

Diane in the spa area was amazing she made us feel like we were millionaires. She is a kind, friendly and warm person. She couldn’t do enough for us to make us feel special. Mirbeau is lucky to have her on their staff! Thank you Diane for making our day so special!

Amazing experience at Mirbeau! Every detail perfect and exceptional staff. The food, spa, rooms were amazing. Every single staff member well trained and courteous. Billy the Manager saved the day when our Uber cancelled and Catherine along with entire front desk came to our rescue. Can't recommend this place enough. Stunning beauty and delightful accommodation. This is our third time to Rhinebeck Spa Mirbeau… we absolutely love it here and will definitely be back! So relaxing and comfortable atmosphere. We didn’t get any services this time and just enjoyed the tranquility room, sauna and steam room, and whirlpool on the terrace. We left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.

We stayed two nights there, staff at check in was very friendly, the hotel entrance and sign is so small and you can miss it easily, they don’t change shampoo/conditioner/lotion bottles, it is very dirty on the top of the bottle, you can see the dust on the table lamp, the clock by my bedside made too much noise. It is definitely not worth the money.

Spa was top notch. Rooms were very elegant and bed was super comfortable. Atmosphere was very calm and relaxing. Will definately return.

Everything was lovely. Within walking distance of restaurants and shops. Convenient to Hyde Park sites. Food was excellent in restaurant.

We had a wonderful time at Mirbeau in Rhinebeck. The staff was very professional, the rooms were clean and the spa treatments were great.

Pampered from beginning to end. Catherine’s warm greeting set the stage for a wonderful ladies overnight to celebrate retirements and birthdays. Use of facilities, easy parking and walkability to Rhinebeck are some of the core enticements of Spa at Mirbeau. All staff was kind and welcoming, room was ample size for 3 adults, and spa facilities included outdoor jacuzzi pool, indoor saunas and steam rooms and relaxing meditation rooms. Little touches like champagne welcome,comfy robes and slippers, turndown service with chocolate, in room coffee station and luxurious lotions and potions in the room and throughout the spa were some highlights. Fitness yoga class and gym were ample . We didn’t try the on-site restaurant but it looked lovely and well attended. Downtown Rhinebeck had lots of offerings for food and shopping. We will be back!

My wife and I went for two nights, midweek arriving on a Wednesday. I know that the hotel has a 4 p.m. check-in but I had written a few days before of our intent to get there by around 1 p.m., No promises were made but when we arrived the room was not available so we went out. Couldn't get in until 4p.m. If this was a Friday I'd understand but on a Wednesday?
Once in my wife turned on the TV to watch CNBC. The on-screen directions were awful and the room had two different remotes. We had a staff member come up to help us and she admitted that she had trouble with the system but after a few minutes got us set up.
Hot water in the shower was very slow to come on; I found that it was necessary to turn dial to the highest setting for hot water and then wait a minute or two before it got hot and then dial it back to a comfortable setting. I met another guest or had a worse time with the shower. THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED!
Although Mirbeau is a "spa" hotel I don't use the extra pay services at all. But I do use the gym twice a day. Hardly any space for stretching (and only two mats in the room). No Therabands or other elastic devices. Towels are too small to cover the mat (do you want to lie down on as dirty most?) so needed three small towels to cover it. Rowing Machine works fine in terms of rowing motion but electronics (for timer, speed, etc ) didn't function at all.
It is nice that the hotel has a "relaxation room" to just lie back with low lighting and soft background music. BUT guests must go through it to get to outdoor pool area which sort of defeats the purpose at busy times. Also, coming from outside you must let you eyes adjust for a few seconds or you could walk right into a lounge chair or other object. Poor design!
Finally, although there is complementary coffee/tea, the hot water for tea was often empty or cool. A nice touch would be to have an afternoon cookie/cake or similar item as many hotels do (but I guess that would cost a couple of dollars).
Staff were generally excellent; gracious and accomodating.

This was my third time at this hotel, and it’s always an amazing experience.
