I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again in a heartbeat!
Pros:

This hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, updated and very clean. The breakfast was expected, it was all we needed. We only wish the lady from the front desk who was singing and playing guitar would have been working on our second night.

Cons:

Honestly our stay was great. And bonus, there were camping chairs in our closet that we used when company came to visit!

The St. Anthony Inn's prime location, amenities, and Pauline's hospitality= exceptional stay
Pros:

What a spot! Amazing location in St-Anthony. The Inn overlooks a bay (which you can walk to in 3mins). The continental breakfast was exactly what we needed to start our day (coffee, juice, fruit, bagel, toast, cereal, muffins, oatmeal and yoghurt). We bought numerous local gift shop items in the Inn - well price compared to other gift shops in NL. To top it off, our experience with PAULINE was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - Beyond helpful with hiking trail and restaurant recommendations. She was so kind, her local knowledge and stories were amazing and we miss her already.

Stayed 2nights, nice Hotel, good location, nice rooms. Front desk staff Pauline was a wealth of knowledge and an asset to their team. I would recommend this place & would stay there again.

Lovely hotel neat L'Anse aux Meadows
Pros:

Great suite with a well-appointed kitchen. Friendly staff and good location for getting to L'Anse aux Meadows. Very clean and continental breakfast was fine.

Cons:

Water wasn't potable. That isn't exactly the hotel's fault and they provided bottled water but it did impact our ease and enjoyment.

Comedy of little errors.
Cons:

Property was under a boil water advisory, but we weren’t offered bottled water, just told there was a kettle in the room (fair enough, I suppose).
Staff at both check-in & check-out were very confusing. I was told my room was “downstairs” (which I assumed was down the stairs), and then that it was on the “main floor”, they vaguely gestured to a door that led to stairs going up & down, only to find out they were gesturing to another door next to it, which led to a corridor of rooms.
Check-out staff kept trying to check me out of a different room, even though they had the key fob with my room number on them, and I kept telling them they had my room number wrong. They kept telling me that I was wrong and that I had stayed in another room.

Pros:

When visiting Newfoundland, drive the western shore all the way north to St. Anthony. Here you'll find the Grenfall Heritage Hotel, a perfect place to stay. We were delighted to see that our "family suite" had a large living room, dining table, and a door to a deck for views of the water and sunsets. An efficient kitchen has plenty of counter space and a pass through to the dining room table. There are two large closets with many hangers, one in the entry way and one in a hallway between the bathroom and bedroom. The bedroom has end tables and lamps on both sides of the bed. A continental breakfast is served in a sunny room at no extra charge.
