Chef Randy, Awesome Experience
Pros:

Chef Randy prepared an awesome breakfast and dinner for my family. Our food came out in a timely manner. The price point was fair. The restruant was clean. We enjoyed ourselves. This was an awesome experience.

Gross. Oh and the sink was almost knee level. Like on the floor!

Cons:

Dirty. Mildew in bathroom, peeling wallpaper, broken lamp, sticky remote that had its back falling off. Bed was itchy and stiff, and had to use service elevator. For a Wyndham property, it was shockingly poor.

Eh I’ve stay at better places
Pros:

I like that it was in a central location. The views were nice

Cons:

The elevator didn’t work I had to use the service elevator. The floors were dirty in my room and sheets wrinkled. The bar closed earlier than it says on the website and the staff didn’t really want to talk much.

Although staff was very friendly and helpful, the next time in Norfolk we will stay elsewhere.

Comfortable bed

Cons:

Bathroom door could not be locked. Sink and bathtub drains were slow. Water would only flow to the shower. Motel has 4 elevators but only one was working.

700 Bistro inside hotel
Pros:

This is for 700 Bistro.
We had breakfast at 700 Bistro after the hotel graciously comped our meals due to a minor inconvenience, and it turned out to be one of the best hotel dining experiences we've had.

A huge shoutout to Travis, who was absolutely amazing! He was warm, personable, attentive, and incredibly efficient, running the front with ease while making every guest feel welcome. His customer service was truly 10/10.

The food was outstanding—easily the best hotel breakfast I've had. Kudos to the talented cooks Randy and Princess for preparing such delicious meals. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly.

From the exceptional service to the incredible food, this place exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend 700 Bistro—10/10 experience!

"Doable" for a quick stay but very dated
Pros:

We stayed due to a family medical emergency at the local hospital.
The outside of the hotel is dated. The staff was professional and helpful.
The hotel halls were dated, smelled of weed. Only one elevated of the 4 was working. The hotel has a private lot but they charged $15 to park in it.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Our coffee maker was broken and when asked for a new one they didn't have anyone to help to retrieve and bring it.
The hotel was 'doable' for a quick stay. If I were looking for a hotel to stay for relaxation or personal trip, I would not stay. There are other local hotels that are similar in price and updated.

Pros:

Very rude and unprofessional… NOT SAFE do not book this hotel thugs hang out there they kick in peoples room doors pull the fire alarm all elevators don’t work had to use staff elevators cops told us this place and anything in walking distance of it is no place to stay the outside of the advertising looks good but it don’t look no where like it when you arrive all I can say is DO NOT stay here!! Still haven’t received my refund after being double charged it’s just Ridiculous

Wonderful
Pros:

The staff here is absolutely wonderful! I have no complaints—they are always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. A special shout-out to De'Shea, Christina, and Princess for always taking such great care of me at breakfast. They are consistently polite, attentive, and provide fast, exceptional customer service. They truly make every visit enjoyable!
