Pros:

La amplitud de la habitación, la decoración, el mobiliario. Super cómodo!
Además, en la habitación hay una mini heladera. También cuenta con cafetera. Y hay agua libre en el hotel.

Udoban bračni krevet,velika soba.

Cons:

Stigli smo kasno u hotel,a krevet za 12-godišnje dijete nije bio spreman. Tražili smo posteljinu i samo dobili jastuk ,jastučnicu,poplun bez navlake i donju plahtu. Smatram da je netko od osoblja trebao složiti taj dodatan krevet. Prilikom dolaska nismo mogli platiti boravak nego su tražili blokiranje iznosa na kartici plus 100 € depozita(rečeno nam je da će povrat biti kroz 7-10 dana). Zadnji dan na naplati pokušali su nas prevariti dodatnim danima i taksama za parking za skoro 200 dolara. Tek uz inzistiranje došli smo do zaključka da su nam dopuštali dane,također preko zadnje noći povećala se cijena boravka za 50 dolara. Uglavnom,ne preporucam ovaj hotel nikako.

Comfortable and well positioned
Pros:

Nice big room , comfortable bed, lovely staff

Cons:

Very noisy. Had a front room with a balcony. Woken numerous times at night with emergency vehicles siren. Was moved to a back room for the next week which was much better

Very nice hotel in a great location and reasonably priced.
Pros:

Very convenient location near Dupont Circle and a Metro station. The room was nice, quiet and clean. Would stay there again.

Great hotel in lovely location near lots of restaurants
Pros:

Great location walkable to main sites with plenty of great restaurants nearby.great room size and very comfortable staff very friendly and helpful

Cons:

Noise from air conditioners out side of window maybe unlucky with room selection quietened down on last 2 nights when temp dropped!

Disappointing stay, would not return
Pros:

Good location to walk to and form the monuments and georgtown

Cons:

We booked a room for four people, but when we arrived the bed was made for only two and there were towels for just two guests. The next morning we left the window open to let the room cool down. When we came back that night, the sofa bed had been very poorly made, a pajama that had been neatly folded was left lying out, and the window was still wide open. Nobody had closed it, even though it was already night.
The sofa bed itself was in poor condition, and so were the pillows. They were so worn out that they folded in half and sagged in the middle, with no real support.
Overall, the housekeeping needs serious attention, especially for rooms with more than two guests. It is not good value for the price, and we would not stay here again.

Overall, I really liked the hotel and especially its location, but the noise and repeated housekeeping interruptions too
Pros:

Great location, but noise and housekeeping issues

Hotel Madera was a great choice in terms of location. It’s in a very convenient neighborhood, especially with easy access to the Dupont Circle Metro station. Getting around DC without a car was simple, and I really appreciated that.

Cons:

However, my room was directly above the restaurant, and the noise was quite disruptive. I could clearly hear the bass from the music throughout the day and evening, sometimes even recognizing individual songs. The sound carried into the room much more than I would expect from a hotel.

Another issue was housekeeping on the day of checkout. Two different staff members came to my room multiple times before the scheduled checkout time. It seemed there was a lack of communication between staff, and I couldn’t understand why they were checking on the room before I had even checked out.

Pros:

We had a very spacious room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. Lots of floor space and large bath room. Great for a family. Great location if you are ok walking and using public transport. Very safe and clean area.

Cons:

The lobby was odd, felt a bit make shift but everything worked and staff were helpful.
