Topnoch Service at Hotel Madera
Pros:

I love this hotel. The staff is truly topnotch. Sara and Ezekiel at the front desk were SUPER helpful and gracious. Eddie supports at the door and is another shining example of kind service. I HIGHLY recommend Madera, It is convenient to everything and you can't beat the staff, the happy hour, and the breakfast:)!

Staying here made me look forward to business travel
Pros:

Great location. Large, quiet, and comfortable rooms. Appreciate the complimentary glass of wine at happy hour. Shout outs to Andy in the bar, and Eddy and Ezekiel at the front desk. Was here 2 months in a row: staying here made me look forward to business travel!

Furniture was a bit dated , room a bit damp, the location is just that little bit too far away from everything that you want to see

I like location, room size, price and balcony

Cons:

We stay there every time we go to DC because of balcony, location and the room size - all is very good. This time we were very disappointed with staff - they were not friendly and helpful, especially when wifi internet was out apparently because of the rain and I had to go to a different hotel to have a hot spot and pay for my roaming on mobile phone.

Pros:

Clean, updated and attractively decorated, very nice shower and toiletries, friendly staff, nice onsite dining

Cons:

No convenience items for sale onsite. I could hear a bit more noise coming from the hallway than I’m accustomed to hearing in hotels, specifically the sound of other guests’ doors opening and closing is loud.

A Pleasant Stay with Excellent Access to Restaurants and Attractions
Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Madera for 3 nights from 17 May to 20 May and had a wonderful experience. We booked the Queen-Queen Double Bed room for 3 guests, and the room was spacious, comfortable, and perfectly suited for our needs. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for all three of us to relax after a day of sightseeing.
The room was exceptionally clean throughout our stay. The housekeeping team did a good job keeping the room clean and tidy throughout our stay. Fresh towels and amenities were replenished regularly, and the room was maintained well each day.
One of the best features of Hotel Madera is its location in Dupont Circle. The neighbourhood is vibrant and full of excellent restaurants, cafés, bars, and food outlets within walking distance. Whether you're looking for a quick breakfast, a casual lunch, or a fine dining experience, there are countless options to choose from. We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area's diverse food scene.
The hotel staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist.
Overall, Hotel Madera offers spacious accommodations, outstanding cleanliness, excellent service, and a fantastic location. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Washington, DC, and would happily stay here again on a future trip.

Home away from home
Pros:

I came for a short stay because my AC at home was out, while I was recovering from eye surgery, in the middle of a heat wave! The hotel Madera was so quiet and the staff was so welcoming! They helped my daughter and I feel comfortable while we were away from home. I want to specifically acknowledge MJ and Tina for their personalized service. And thank you to the entire Madera team.
