The property is nice and the hotel is clean when you come, I understand that when the do not disturb sign is on the door they don’t come in but they could knock to see if we need towels or change the sheets you know? Also when I misplaced my key to the room it took an hour to get someone to open the lobby door and get into my room, I called the hotel 15 times no answer nobody came to open the door until I started banging on the front door for 5 mins, that’s not ok when I’m spending so much money I should be able to get service right away this was my second time staying at this hotel I like it a lot and would love to come back again but these issues should be resolved

It's a well kept boutique hotel on par with any national chain. Would stay again.
We had a great time at Madera Hotel. Our room was clean and pictures are spot on as well. Easy access to room and quiet at night. Ezekiel, Eddy, and Jorge very helpful and made our time there very enjoyable. I would definitely come back.
Location
It is not accessible. There are stairs to get to the elevator and only a temporary very rickety and dangerous ramp. Also I reserved an ADA room and was given a standard room. Also my room keys repeatedly did not work.
Good location and price
Very bad attitude from some of the workers, no WiFi all the vacation without any help
Lovely, friendly hotel. Spacious, comfortable room. Great neighborhood, close to restaurants and the Metro. Staff was accommodating and kind.
Location is exceptional
Pillows too soft
We visited Washington, D.C. to celebrate my birthday. We arrived at the hotel two hours early. Since it was my birthday, they checked us in early and presented me with a delightful gift: a bottle of red wine, a box of chocolate, and a bag of chips. We were given a room on the highest floor. The restaurant connected to our room was simply amazing. For brunch, they went above and beyond by surprising me with a cake that had “Happy Birthday” written on it and a complimentary small cocktail. Our server captured the moment beautifully with a photo and sang happy birthday. They made my birthday feel truly special.
I brought my laptop to do some college work during my trip, but unfortunately, there was no WiFi connection the entire time. They claimed it was due to weather conditions, but it wasn’t even on once.
This was the first time I stayed in Washington. We chose this place based on location, price, and reviews. It is a small boutique hotel. The room was large and clean. The service staff was polite and friendly. It's a little bit away from the major sights in a quiet and safe area. We used Uber to get around, but the Metro is a short walk. We enjoyed our stay, but next time, we would try to stay closer to the National Mall.
