Airport was convenient for meeting my group. Day staff corrected billing issue.
Night staff were unhelpful in resolving a billing issue and gave incorrect into.
It is the closest hotel to the airport and they run a 24x7 shuttle.

Close to airport, Comfy beds, large TV's with good channel's available. Attached bar/restaurant was nice for dinner without needing a taxi. And free Cookies duh!
lacking breakfast options for early flight departures (starts at 6am). Some areas in the lobby or halls smelled bad. Some of the gym equipment (bike) was not sturdy or level on the flooring.
Nice so convenient. However the shuttle did not stop at Southwest. It stopped very far away from Southwest we had to walk

Hotel felt a little outdated and tired.

At check-in, I was told I needed to pay $180 (approx) for the room, which they said was booked through a third party (booking.com), which I paid. It didn't seem like the amount I had booked for, and when I opened my luggage in my room, I realized I had already paid in full, and that the room charge was only $150 (approx). So I called and asked for a refund of what I had paid to them. They agreed I was wrongfully charged but said it would take 3 days to refund me.
If I hadn't found my original paperwork, I would have been double-charged. So please, clean up the administrative end to honor prior payments and if a charge is made in error, reverse it immediately, not 3 days later.

Laroya st the front desk would benefit greatly from an attitude adjustment. I tried to check in and she said i I could not check in yet because there were no rooms available. It is 2:30 in the afternoon and she said I have to come back at4 o'clock. And I said well it is possible that maybe the room would be available before hand she said I don't have any rooms comeback at 4 o'clock. And she said it in a very rude manner.
The hotel is the most convenient Jax airport hotel. It is a very old building but the rooms aren’t bad not bad. However, housekeeping is lacking. The hallways were strewn with old linens, including one set with blood stains across from our door.
There are luggage carts throughout all the hallways making it difficult to maneuver. Clearly people stay here because it is adjacent…not any other reason
We emailed the hotel after the stay to express our concern for th unsanitary conditions but they did not respond.
