St Charles Coach House, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Limpa, decoração bonita, hotel cheiroso e banheiro com box (sem cortina e sem banheira). O quarto era grande e estava exatamente como apresentado no anúncio, tinha estacionamento e a atendente era muito solicita. Check-in e checkout fácil.

I have been traveling to New Orleans several times year for the last few years. This is my favorite place to stay. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and nicely decorated; the staff is always friendly and helpful; the location is excellent; there is free parking; and it is very safe and secure. I don't know why anyone would stay elsewhere.

The room was a very nice size, and the beds were super comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location for the Mardi Gras parades could not be beat. Loved the free parking in a garage on site as well.

Extremely clean hotel. Room was nicer and bigger than expected. Friendly and helpful staff. Also a good central location to see New Orleans.

Great place my only suggestion would be the afternoon check in girl needs to put her phone away. Cleaning staff was much more friendly than she was.

Everything was really good, except the other people that stayed at the hotel was out in the corridor, yelling and shouting well past midnight, it wasn’t allowed in the room, but you can clearly hear it. We did not bring this up to the staff. Which in retrospect we should.

Proximity, friendly staff, cleanliness, pricing, entire room and amenities, all the above!

Always a great stay in New Orleans. The rooms are a comfortable size and the decor is welcoming. Love that we can park our car without a valet - convenient.

El hotel muy bueno, atrapado en la magia de la ciudad. Silencioso, con su olor peculiar, olor a tiempo, a ciudad vibrante, todo lo que necesita un hotel para darte cobija y comodidad.
En esta ciudad si buscas lujo aséptico, perfección y una postal sin grietas, esto no es para ti. New Orleans se siente. Aquí la ciudad respira música, historia, sudor, fe, pecado y redención al mismo tiempo. Hay magia en el aire, en cada esquina, en cada nota que sale de una trompeta cansada. Una ciudad sucia con patina del tiempo, extraordinariamente hermosa, donde puedes caminar, montar bici, o tomar el tranvía, al mismo tiempo que escuchas unas notas de jazz, te comes un gumbo y visitas el tipitinas, o viajas por el missisipi en barco.

Es una tierra con cicatrices visibles y alma intacta. No es para el turista de plástico que se queja por todo; es para quien entiende que la belleza también vive en lo imperfecto. Aquí conviven el pasado y el presente al unísono, y esa mezcla es lo que la hace única.

Si vienes con la mente abierta y el corazón dispuesto, New Orleans te abraza. Si no, simplemente pasa de largo. Esta ciudad no se explica: se vive.

St. Charles Coach House is a really nice property...with housekeeping, evening front desk personnel, and parking concerns. Starting with the concerns, the enclosed lower-level parking is sufficient but not enough for all the rooms, leading guests to park on the dark, open second level, which has no elevator. The exterior stairs from the second-floor parking are not the easiest to navigate with multiple pieces of luggage. Arriving late in the evening, you might be greeted with rather bohemian-looking and somewhat unprofessional staff who do not exude much personality, however are very thorough in their delivery of the hotel and its amenities. The exterior, lobby, common areas, and rooms are well-maintained; however, our room required a thorough vacuuming and a check of the bed for the last guest's hair on the pillow.

Now, for the positive...the interior floor hallways are well-lit and really wide. Our floor (second) had an ice maker, filtered water dispenser, and microwave conveniently located for guest use. Our room with double beds was really large with high ceilings, well-appointed furnishings, linens, artwork, etc. The room comes equipped with a full-size Keurig coffee machine with premium roast coffees as well as a decorative glass water decanter for filling. The morning front desk staff could not be any more personable, welcoming, and informative.

For the location next door to the Ponchartrain and the wonderful decor and condition of the hotel and rooms, St. Charles Coach House should definitely be on your short list.

I was looking for place with breakfast! Website did say breakfast wasn’t included, I did mis read it, my fault other than that it was wonderful. Staff excellent. Housekeeping very friendly free parking was a plus! Price was reasonable!

No breakfast , but the property’s location, comfort and cleanliness were very good!

Great service, very nice staff. Clean and safe. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great indoor parking. Would love to be there for Mardi Gras since it’s got a balcony right on St. Charles.
