Really bad but expensive hotel

The only positive thing was the shower.

Cons:

I am not usually a complainer, but this hotel was just bad given the absurd price I paid. Dirty (trash on the floor in the hallway), threadbare, horrible pillows, and incompetent front desk. Was told that breakfast ended at 11am, but when we arrived at 10:30am we were told the kitchen had closed. There were others who had the same issue. Also, I asked for a late check out as the printed welcome letter said to do, and was told by the front desk that there was a $20 per hour charge. Totally ridiculous as there were many empty rooms. The final insult was when I discovered that I was charged 4 times the regular rate because it was a busy weekend. I understand that prices increase during a busy time, but 4x is exorbitant. Do not stay at this hotel. You will regret it.
