Quality Inn & Suites Stoughton - Madison South

Front desk staff was awesome! Super impressed that they had life jackets for the kids! Hot tub was so nice and pool is heated not cold at all. Was a great family getaway. Pretty fair price. Great location too.

Very unhelpful and rude staff, LOUD room anytime people in the hotel used water, the fold out couch is unbearable and don’t be tricked by “hot breakfast”! That literally meant you could make your own waffles - nothing else was hot… let alone PREPARED! I couldn’t even get an extra pillow upon request!

Really nice, clean rooms. Great location too BUT
1) website didn’t work for booking. I had to call to book
2) wanted a crib for baby, but for some reason they were only able to book it for a double queen room versus a king room? I insisted on a king bed but they said it wasn’t possible even though the room was available in general
3) REALLY pushy to leave exactly at 11 on the dot. Literally changing my baby’s surprise dirty diaper, and the start calling the room nonstop at 11:05. At 11:07 housekeeping knocked on the door. I turned in the key cards and was out and back in my car with my baby back in car seat at 11:10 exactly. Seriously, wtf?? This was so rude and entirely unprofessional. You’d think we stayed 30 min past or something!! This left a horrible impression, especially upon leaving, and it kind of makes me not to want to stay there ever again.

I was going to recommend this hotel to visiting family and friends (we were apartment searching for husband’s new job), but the pushy check out is enough to not recommend it.

It was nearly an empty hotel, and it was obvious that we had an infant (10 months). Completely bewildered about how rude they were. We’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels in Europe and America, and I’ve never encountered anything like this!

Not a good experience at this Quality Inn & Suites. My room smelled like stale smoke even though it was supposed to be non-smoking. I mentioned it to the front desk clerk the same night I checked in, but nothing was done.
One of the beds also smelled like BO, as if the sheets hadn’t been changed. Housekeeping replaced them the next morning but she insisted they’d already been changed before my arrival, which made things uncomfortable.
When I filled out a survey afterward, the manager's (Gloria) response denied that I brought up the smoke issue altogether and it wasn't in their records. I was there — she wasn't. Poor follow-up and lack of accountability left a bad impression on me.
Unfortunately, the hotel’s follow-up showed little accountability or understanding of how disappointing my experience really was. Between the lingering smoke smell, questionable cleanliness, and the defensive response afterward, I can’t recommend the Stoughton location.

The breakfast was fresh and very good and the service was great, the coffee pot was empty and I let them know and the gal stopped what she was doing and got more coffee out right away!
The staff over all was so friendly, Gloria( front desk) was amazing- Thank you, if were ever back your way will stay h ere again

Staff was fine. Check in quick. Room clean and comfy. That's the main thing for us. Breakfast subpar.
