A great hotel with character and comfort, with a great restaurant
Pros:

We had a room in the main part of the hotel above reception which was really quaint, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom has recently been updated so it was excellent, the room also had a new heater/air con unit which was very appreciated, as well as wall sockets with usb plugs (very handy). All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. The food in the restaurant, The Turmeric Kitchen, was absolutely gorgeous. The hotel has parking and is only a 10 min walk from the nearest station. Excellent choice at breakfast which was very reasonably priced.

Cons:

There was nothing to dislike. However, it would have been nice to have a bedside cabinet or small table on both sides of the bed.
